The AFL continues to plan for Adelaide and the Brisbane Lions to play at Adelaide Oval on Saturday via a “fly-in fly-out” model despite both South Australian teams being sent to Melbourne on Wednesday in a move that left all 18 clubs in Victoria.

Unfortunately not the case as is being reported in the Age. All other Vic grounds are already in use on Sat, Princes Park is currently a construction site, and the AFL and the crows will probs get money from the Vic Government to have the game in Ballarat.

Tassie is off the table. Tas Government refused Freo, won't be any different for us/Adelaide.

People need to get their head around the fact that if it stays sat, Ballarat is the only option. They haven't held a single double header anywhere all year, and Freo-Carlton is at GMHBA Sat night.

I assume it will be moved to earlier in the day if it is in Ballarat.

MCG is empty and they could ask us to play a day early. Here's hoping.

They are not going to broadcast a game at the same time as a Friday night football game. They have broadcast contracts to adhere to.

It sucks but I'd be surprised if McClure and Cherny are wrong. They get their information from somewhere - most likely the clubs or AFL fixture department.
