Some games i've had to rely on stats because i've missed them so i will be giving some players a lot of votes when they really shouldn't. Such as i'm not sure if Boak has played well enough to have 9 votes already because i have missed his games. Same for Simpson.

Who get's the 3 votes then?

Re: Brownlow Medal

can't believe lenny hayes is still $31. simon black into $17, such a good vote getter and has had a really good few weeks now.

judd terrible value.

Has to get 3

Played a genuine game this week, no pissy handballs. Nearly every disposal was damaging as well.

Rewatched it and awarded him the 3. However, I'm still reluctant as the umps have no love him for the award. Chappy had HEAPS of marks which I think would stick in the umps minds, but Ablett deserves the 3 so yeh.

Yeh Hayes is great value! Black has had a worst year then last but will still poll well.

Coleman odds are very interesting.

Re: Brownlow Medal

what votes did people get for the hawks vs eagles game. will big nick naitanui's last quarter get him a vote..
also didn't see any of the kangaroos vs bulldogs game. who played well in that game?
cheers

Re: Brownlow Medal

Sam Mitchell was probably BOG in a losing side. Not sure if Natanui will get votes, maybe 1. He certainly would have got their attention.

As for Dogs/Roos - I didnt see enough of it to give a confident answer. Harding/Petrie were the best for the Roos, Gia and Matty Boyd for the Dogs for me.

Re: Brownlow Medal

Once again Swan underrated by a knucklehead, so whats new?
Knucklehead? I tore apart VCE and Uni. I just don't like him as a player. If he plays well next week I will probably put him in my AA side so it's not like I'm ignoring him. Just a personal preference that I wouldn't want him to win the Brownlow. I'd like Ablett or Hayes personally.

Re: Brownlow Medal

Swan is a better player than Goodes and at this stage he has had a much better year than Goodes did either year he won the Brownlow.

The fact that Goodes has won two brownlow votes shows what a joke the system is.

If you doubt me check out this thread:

http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=595049

Statistics mean stuff all. It's who you remember dominating the game as you leave the stadium. Goodes stands out because he is tall and quick and normally receiving and running towards the 50. He deserved 2006 100%, you could argue he got lucky in 2003 but it wasn't a shock that he won.
To say Swan is a better player than Goodes is a bit of a joke and to say Swan is having a better season compared to Goodes in 2006 is a joke. Goodes and Hall pretty much delivered us a GF appearance that year.
