Kane Cornes on Monday - Pick #13 is right on the money for Gibbs.

Article claiming.

- #13 wont cut it
- He's contracted.
- Carlton hold all the power.
- It's up to Adelaide to satisfy us.

Kane Cornes on Twitter, last night -

"If Mitchell is worth #14, Gibbs is #13 only". "Adelaide should offer just #13 and no more and if Carlton don't like it, he stays. Simple"..

Man is arguing with himself....

I like Titch but the idea that he has similar worth to Gibbs is ridiculous, both in terms of his ability and the fact he is uncontracted.

This is what happens when you hang out with Terry Wallace for a large period of time

Kane has lost his marbles I'm afraid. Working in the media has hit his mental faculties hard.

My god I just read 18 pages of this stuff. Incredible to think that Gibbs divides so many supporters. At the end of the day, Gibbs is a tradable commodity that signed a contract with an employer. Said contract is still 3 more years. Not our fault that the employee duffed up his personal life (for whatever rhyme or reisling ....(sorry I had to put a wine pun in there).

Carlton ... 2 x 1st round picks, this and next years, or 1st round + either McGovern or Crouch.

Or ....

Adelaide can see Gibbs in 3 years ... when he is 30.

Pretty simple I would say.

The Swans are getting pick #14 and latter picks for Titch.
Hawks need to trade pick for JOM first, but would not surprise if Hawks pay this years or next years second round pick plus #14.

For the first time in his life Kane is right. Carlton's posturing won't mean we pay overs for Gibbs.

I wish he'd be 30 in 3 years

Then you miss out on obtaining a premier mid, in your premiership window.

Didnt take you long to go all starburns on us :) Harmless fun.

Bay crew - dont ruin a good thing ok by spamming it. You know how to use it.

Harmless fun yes, BUT we get it & no need to spam the Board with repetitive pics.

You & your Bay mates! :D

Except Kane is wrong because Mitchell is worth more than pick 14, they are swapping picks in the second round by the sounds of things... so pick 13 and swapping our 2017 2nd for your 2017 1st looks about the value :thumbsu:

And Mitchell isn't contracted.

Then.. you don't get Gibbs. Simple, yes?

He is contracted which attracts a premium. So start coming up with something "overs" to get him.

seems sos is not keen on any of the crows players. he is after picks. could adelaide be trying to get a few more later picks to satisfy us? would 13 & a pick in the 20s get it done?
