The best part for me was that we realised they were starting to catch up, then put the foot down. We haven't had the guts to do that in the past.
I’m not getting over excited by the result. GWS did not want to travel to Adelaide. While we were very very good, they just did what they had to and I think they switched off. Watch them smash the Swans in the first final

Jones is getting a week for that tackle

I think an important part of any case will be that Jones other hand was really only on his hip, not even grabbing his jumper to drag him down. It was 1 arm + the momentum.

Whilst it looked similar to what Ash was suspended & appeal failed on, he had basically both arms pinned on Young by the end of the tackle. The head contact to the ground was worse and it also happened not long before half time, so who knows if Young had a HIA during the break (I’d say it was very likely).

Cadman got straight up & wasn’t affected, didn’t go off for a HIA.

A fine at most.

Wow!!!

WB v Hawthorn at Marvel!!!

Who would have thought that?

OK, who believed me if even for half a second and what were your thoughts when you read my lie? Honestly, though, could you imagine...

Judging on the coaches reactions in the box they very much wanted to win that one

Are we thinking it's gonna be a Saturday day game? Last year Saints and GWS finished 6th and 7th.
I think it will be

Thursday Night - Bris v Carl / Freo
Friday Night - us
Saturday arvo - Syd v GWS
sat night Port v Geel

Last two could switch around though

If I saw it right, It looked like Cadman landed on his forearm and the ball.

That is not the Adam Kingsley way he would not orchestrate results.

Both us and Hawthorn are 6-1 over the last 2 months. It's going to be the 2 best teams in the comp facing off in a packed MCG.

I'd back whoever wins to go on and win the flag. Hopefully it's us!
Think Hawks have played a lot more easy beats in that run though

Interesting to note that Bev mentioned in his presser answering a question around Richards going into the midfield. He stated that Williams is another that could play inside.

Which is something a few of us have said in the past. Definitely think he could be a weapon in there if ever called upon.
Glad Bev has it in his mind at the very least.

Yea I'll always remember watching his 56 disposal game for Glenelg as a under ager. Nobody could tackle him at all while he danced around them all day.
