Tipping this week.... [I got 5 out of 6 last week] Sorry Rovers !!!!!

RUPERTSWOOD VS AJAX Jackas to win this one in the early start [1PM] , but they do not travel well and this is a long travel!! [close game expected]

MAZENOD VS PARKDALE Vultures have good winning form and from reports they were very impressive last week.

MONASH VS HAMPTON This is the toughest call of the round ..Both winners last week, but the talls of Monash should take over on the big oval .

WHTEFRIARS VS MHSOB Friars were terrible last week...they can only improve against a shaky MHSOB and will win this game.

OAKLEIGH VS ORMOND Ormond will win by the biggest margin this week..too fast, too talented....

Ya reckon:confused: I hope you're right. I only saw the first half and I thought the Nodders should have been 2 or 3 goals up. The Monders must have improved in the second half. From what I saw the side is still undersized and still heavily rely on the regulars - thought Digger and Marty kept them in it in the first half.

There were a few notable absentees like Millsy, but on what I saw they have a way to go to match it with the boys from Gerry Green.

I think it was probably right at half time. Ormond had the run in the 1st, nodders in the 2nd. After half time Ormond just blasted Mazenod, they were far superior with the skills and fitness.

You can always rely on Kelleher to play a solid game, Martin also played well, i thaught Te'henepe and wardley both did well for 1st year seniors. Martinov was probably best on in the 1st half, if not the full game.

Miller is still recovering from a broken leg, haha the monds will account for the vultures

we tried to get robbins down to sandringham but couldn't match a better offer

shut you trap u fool, came to monds to play with his brothers, had doughnuts to prove at Sandringham.

Dont get too cocky remember what the vultures did to ormond in the first semi two years ago:eek::eek:

I BELIEVE THE OFFER FROM SOFTRIGHAM WAS MASSIVE,BUT WHO WOULD WANT TO PLAY WITH@@@@

You're kidding. Start with the hundreds of footballers who have been unable to make the list over the past few years. They wanted to play at a premiership club but weren't good enough, then many of them end up playing "amateur" football.

The reason Sandy are so successful is because their players are often better than the Melbourne listed players and certainly better than the other club's non-listed players. Our ability to keep our head over the ball have won us 7 of the past 15 years.

Still living in the past Vultures...

I guess Old Xav's are still reeling after we beat them to win 4 A Grade flags in a row...

But plenty did four years ago in the 2004 grand final, I can understand why you may still be a bit sour about that.
You just have to bring yourself to the reality that Port is just another struggling club that prides itself on its great history yet hasn't produced anything for years..
I suggest you leave that topic there, and get back C grade ammos.

Looks the coach of the Vultures is set to drop down Michael Meyer who only got 4 kicks for the entire and cheap goal. Never seen such a tall player run around the field and failure to pick up kicks. Brings back memories of Simon Crawshay for Hawthron.

With youngster Boland taking over the reigns in the ruck and dominating. Kicked a lazy 9.

Lift Michael

pretty impressive if a player of that calibire didnt peform and they still won by 140 points imagine if he was playing well i hate to for rupys sake

2/5 for me last week. Looking for improvement in Round2!!!!!

Rupo have in ther ten year history been fast starters to seasons 11-0 last year and 6-0 the year before. Let's describe our start this year as tardy, abonimable, frightening. The question i ask did it really happen or am i still in a sleep. In this dream Parkdale were very good and we were extraodinarily average.
The bottom line it is great to have footy back.

Rupo by 1/2point over Ajax
Parkdale by 19pts over Mazenod (they started slow last year0 Parkdale are up and running
Monash over Hampton by 10
Whitefriars by 3pts over MHS
Ormond by 51 pts over Oakleigh

Ormond, Parkdale and Ajax are the early frontrunners in 2008 could be the BIG3

Just had a quick look at vafa clearances and Ryan Semmel from De La (A GRADE) has gone to hampton, Not a bad pick up for the bayside boys as he kicked 5 on the weekend for de la seniors and was in the best.. Hampton now with Semmel, Alexander, Fletcher and Carr getting stronger and stronger.

dont forget tom curry (captain of sandy dragons last year) greenwood ( rookied by the bulldogs) deveraux, batt, mccarthy who are only getting better.
