i thought that ignorance was bliss? sounds like at ormond arrogance is bliss. i dont know who has there heads further up there bottoms. oakliegh or ormond.
You really are a tool, it's supporters like you that make yourself & Ajax the most hated club in the VAFA.

if hampton are the team to beat and we booted 12 against them in 1 quater.. wow we must be going ok.

in all seriousness tho, ive heard they were well understrength against us, and when they beat us earlier on in the yr.. was easily the best team ive seen so far this year

Good effort boys for last week. Fought hard, and only went down by a couple of goals to the apparent 'gun side' of the competition. They were okay early, but credit to our boys we came back and almost won it. Definately more powerful teams out there in C-Grade than Oakleigh.

We've got top of the table this week, and we took it up to them last time we played them. I'm hoping our boys can put up another fight similar to the last, but this time come home with the points. Let's do it boys, we've got nothing to lose!

As a former player of both clubs Ormond would have to be in front. Hampton probably lost the hunger after taking all before them in the first half of the season. But I wouldn't get ahead of yourself cos from all reports they were a little undermanned and they were still in it for just over half the game. At full strength they'll be hard to beat, but so will most of the top 4-5 sides. Oakleigh were clinical against them in Rd.10 and whilst it looked like they played the ground alot better, it's not a reasonable excuse for the margin. They were impressive. Unlike their supporters!
As for Alexander who apparently dominated the game, he could well lay claim to the best player in C if he gets his body right and plays out the year. His injury was a huge factor in them falling over at the final hurdle in D1.

Goldy don't get sucked in by that "Groundsman" character.....
He must be a supporter of a well known bayside A Grade Club.... and has nothing to do with C Grade other than to stir up .

Should be a great game this weekend between Ajax and Ormond with lots at stake for both Clubs. The winner will benefit greatly as the Finals approch .. Ajax was far too good for Ormond last time they met, but playing on their own ground, Ormond is a 5 goal better side.
Let's hope it will live up to expectations of a great game by 2 good sides.

And which well known Bayside club might that be? Brighton or SBMT? And for your information Mazel, I do have a connection to C grade. I have mates who played in that grade, YEARS AGO.

regards to the weekend, no real suprises.. i thought that rupo did well to get as close as they did (not being cocky)..but the scoreboard was slightly flattering to them.

Wake up champ, the difference was simply Matt Robbins and his 9 goals - Rupo had no one to go with him. I was on Ormond for the flag, however based on what I saw against a depleted Rupo line up on Saturday, I will wait until I see Rovers again before making any further judgement.
I think with one M Miller to go into that Ormond side, along with the ex St.Kilda player who ran around in the Magoos on Saturday, plus 1 or 2 other forward options to come back in, Ormond could well be a very realistic Flag contender. Their backline is the one area they need to sure up a touch and the big bloke mentioned above may just do that nicely.
Our boys had a real crack, but they answered every challenge and with Matty Robbins hitting peak fitness and form and injuries permitting, I'm on them for the Cup.

What a bunch of tossers! I have sat back all year and read absolute bulltish!! 6 Weeks to go and your all talking about Grand Finals. All teams in the top 4 have lost recently to sides below them! Grand Final Teams this early is absolute crap!! Extra ammunition for those outside the four! Plenty of football left boys!

spare me.. if anyone currently outside of the 4 plays in this years GF i will let anyone on this forum flog off into my face

Bedford you have no idea, what association do you have anyway. Are you a player a supporter or just from what I have read a dill.. Last comment from me ...play Beckett at his current fitness level at your peril. good bye loser
do us all a favour you puppet and fk off for good.

Your are probably hoping this occurs you toss.r. Parky could still sneak into the four as they play the bottom 4 sides still and their % is ok and once finals begin anyhting can happen...

i agree with yandel it way to early to predict a grand final even know we are really confident of ajax its too early. parkdale cannot make the 4 now. they have only 3 home games left and 1 is ormond. they will prolly only win another 2 games.

this weekend is going to be big for some teams.

hampton and melb high was a close one last time. i think hampton should just get over them again.
mazenod should be too good for rupertswood but there inconsistent season has made it hard to tip against them. they might upset mazenod, but i think mazenod at home should just hold them out. there the only other threat to a top 4 spot. mazenod and oakliegh will fight out 4th.
monash promised a bit but are struggling. i think st home they might get over oakliegh.
parkdale should win there game against whitefriars. i don't think friars will win another game this year.
the big one is us and ormond. ormond are in great form and they are telling everyone but i think we are just as good form maybe even better. we proved we are better when we won by 10 goals and they are better at home but not good enough to stop our form. wins together is the key now for ajax. we should be looking at top 2.

Goldy you Fool!! Top 2?? Not a chance you will be making it anywhere near that! You've got more chance of Lewski losing his fitness than making top 2! Looking forward to welcoming you to the High School in 2 weeks. Hope you boys are ready for the High School onslaught!!!!

In case you hadn't picked up on it, Goldy is not an ajax supporter. He just likes stirring the pot. He has picked the name Goldy and the location as Caulfield to feign legitimacy. By all means fall into his trap (and that of our long lost friend yosi) but please don't actually think it is somethign serious!

You are correct.. For Goldy to say that Ormond will be a pushover at home is ridiculous and I assure everyone that Ajax has the highest respect for Ormond and this will be a keenly fought battle between two in form sides.
There is a lot at stake...
Goldy is no friend of Ajax if he keeps dishing up that crap !

I'll bet Goldy is from Oakleigh. Born in Tasmania, resides in Frankston and follows Collingwood. Just check out his spelling. Grade 3 at best.

I don't know if you'd agree with me, but I reckon the 2006 VAFA C Section Grand Final doesn't get the recognition it should get for being one of the all-time great games-not just in the VAFA, but in the Aussie Rules code. After all, how many times do you see a team play football the way AJAX did in that first half, only to see one of the finest fightbacks from an impossible position which is what St Bedes Mentone Tigers did, then possibly one of the best final quarters of football one could ever wish to see, and a win by the narrowest of margins-1 point.
