Hey over, the 'who's Dave Murray?' line was a joke.

I realise it was a joke. I was refering to the general tone of many of your posts which are either running down clubs, coaches or players. It is growing a little tiresome.

I can't believe you suggested hailybury was providing financial inducement to players. Thats serious banter there Brian.

Overtheline, you are naive to think that it does not happen...Also, I suggest that you don't take this forum to seriously, like lots of things on the internet, half of what you read on here is bull s h i t and the other half made up!
So relax and if you cant have a laugh, don't post. I get the most crap thrown at me by posters, but I think it's funny, as Im sure they do.

Thats a relief to know half of what you say is bu**sh*t and the other half made up!

Haha Golden...except for what you and I have discussed, that unfortunately is 100% true...strictly only private forum material.
Cheers

I think people should have thicker skin in this world.

I know Brian gets a bit personal about things but if there was no thruth to the rumour, why would he bother posting it on this forum.

Correct Benny. Love him or hate him, Brian is one of the few people that add a bit of spice to this otherwise rather dull forum. At times i would even go as far as to call him a comic visionary. It's all good natured banter anyway, even if most of Brian's posts are fertalizer.

Brian must also get some credit for discovering a rat in the ranks. A certain C section person in the VAFA forum with 2 identities that pretends to be from other clubs(although Brian/The master did this himself also).

The actual line is "If you can't follow the rules, don't post". A warning to all users to read the forum rules and mind that we DO enforce them.

Note rules 1 and 5 in particular, also the laws of the land in regards to defamatory and libellous statements.

All threaders, perhaps best to let sleeping dogs lie, Appleyard is trying to run a pretty tight ship.

Cheers

I hear that Fitzroy Reds have recruited very well and will be a force in C grade this year. Look out for a bloke named Daniel Zacek - have played with him in the ammos before and he is a very good footballer. Expect him to figure prominently in the league b and f.

Fitzroy Reds are all the hype aren't they, what are their strenghts? Do they have good midfield, a gun forward or a tight backline? OR are they just very even all over?

Any surprises at St Bedes, new recruits going well, anything like that? Sounds like they are travelling OK!

Ormond played Parade on 25/03/06 & by all reports it was a draw or Parade won by like 2 points.

I know there were 12 players missing from last years GF team, so to get close was great. Plenty of good under 19's played 1's in this game & did well which is encouraging.

Intra club this week (1/4/06) & a praccy v Hampton this coming weekend

The Reds are quick all over the ground, hard at it across all lines and very well skilled. Certainties for the top four if not top two

yep..must agree here. I have said all along that they are "overtheline" this year and they will be unstoppable in both Seniors and Reserves. They will play Ajax in GF.
