Won’t survive list lodgement at years end. I’m sure he knows it as well. Isn’t even mildly competitive at this level. In fact he was a better player 2 or 3 years ago. He has got worse over time it seems.

Might have cost him his AFL career last night. He is very one dimensional inside mid that is too small for AFL. His skills are not up to standard on the outside and he has lost all confidence. Hope he can turn it around, but I feel he is up there with Murphy and Cox to be shown the door at seasons end.

No. He has gone from being shit to something far worse. He wouldn't even take possession of the ball last night. He didn't want the footy for fear of screwing up. Before he just had shit skills. Now it's definitely in his head as well.

Just can't see him making it from here, had more chances than most and -after some promising early glimpses- seems to have gone backwards. Feel for the kid, I'm sure he is as frustrated as the supporters and their must be a fair bit of nerves, stress and anxiety there. Will take a miracle to survive the chop at seasons end.

I know there was a late out but the decision to play him over Macrae is an absolute howler. Not that I think Macrae is special, but it’s obvious he deserves a fair crack before Brown who time and time again proves to be a liability. I don’t understand how coaches can get things like this so wrong so often.

I've loved Callum, loved him because he was unlikely, but we've all got to move on.

He just gets too lost at too many contests. Ultimately, the best pressure you can place upon the opposition is getting the ball before they do, and he just can't seem to do enough of this.

I actually think it was right to keep him up until the end of last season. Maybe the coach change saved him.

But we do need to give players a chance to develop. He just hasn’t.

I never wanted to post and just liked jens info and training videos but couldnt hold my tongue! Yes maybe cal browns skills need work but he gives 110% for the jumper we love and no one can argue that like maybe we can for some others. Honestly some of the stuff said on this is just so harsh, these guys are still human beings lets give them a bit of a break and maybe if you believe something just keep it to yourself coz theres no need to make them feel crap on top of all the pressure they have already, just think how they'd feel reading some of this!

You want to pay me 300 grand a year and call me a dud once a week? I'm in! I get called far worse names than that and I don't get a cent to soften the blow.

Just out of interest, has he ever been handed a tagging role for an extended period? He's pretty scrappy and tough... or does he just not have the motor to go with some of the midfield types or even, from the Dogs, say a Caleb Daniel

It will if you have a drill and the right attachment. I have done it was easy as the round hold was small.
