I doubt it.
There’s no reference to that in the member types. And at $7k/pa back then, unlikely.

I’m assuming the yellow background is white that’s become discoloured?

I’m wondering if it belongs to a regional footy club or sporting team ( C for Cricket?) that also uses the magpie as its mascot?

Membership of the Woodsmen is restricted to 100 persons, including the Executive. In addition there will be such number of Life Members, Honorary Members, Interstate and Restricted Game Members, as are appointed from time to time. Application for membership of The Woodsmen shall be approved by a Committee comprising the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of The Woodsmen.

I wondered if it was for the Interstate mentioned above..

Thanks for some answers but I guarantee I've never been in the Woodsmen or any other coterie groups.

This will come as a great shock to some of you I know.

$7k is the current pricing.

Our resident Magpie family, Mum, One Eye and Dad, Michael, have had two chicks this year and still have last years chick hanging around.

We are into our 24th year with the same parents.
First time they have had two chicks.
My grand daughters just love them
They will often just fly over and sit on your shoulder.
Maggies are really such great birds.

PS. Well over sixty and never been swooped.
Our resident Magpie Family Dad Bucks Mum Tania have been here since we moved in 9 years ago, every year since they have been bringing there babies down to meet us several things l have learnt from observing them over this time are.....

They are life partners [unlike Bucks and Tania]
They work extremely hard to provide a nest for there babies
They are amazing parents
They share all tasks for the babies
They spend hours teaching the babies how to look for there own food
They are extremely protective against predators
But most of all they are able to let them know when it is time to stand up for themselves and leave the nest to find there
own partners.

They are amazing birds and some humans need to learn from them, my husband and l are Foster parents and have had
many young ones that some parents could learn from these wonderful creatures.

Woodsmen Interstate Collingwood (WIC) still doesn’t make sense, nor does a diecast badge for a tiny % of 100 members.

Any other ideas?

Lest we forget. I remembered my one minute silence for the brave souls that died fighting for our country
So many people should observe more than one minute

They deserve a hell of a lot more. Gone are the days when a 16yo was willing to die for his country.
I was just thinking about how nice it would be if some people could keep quiet for more than a minute

I don't talk that much do I?. Come to think of it, maybe I do
lol.
Not you.
At least your stuff is funny or makes sense. And you don’t take yourself too seriously.
It’s a pleasure reading your stuff

Thanks! No real magic from me here - I chat to our official club historian (Michael Roberts) very often, ran this past him, and he responded straight away with:

That's it, now I remember!

I've always been a giver.

No wonder none of you tight arses knew what it was.

If they're being shipped overseas for a so-called 'War on Terror' or because they've been told that we need to stop commos in Indochina, then I'm happy that the days of 16yo kids signing up for mayhem are behind us.

Lest We Forget.

For me it's the diggers of WW1 and WW2. I also respect those that lost their lives in Vietnam and Korea. I'm not interested in modern day political wars.

WTF is the thought process behind a Round 0? Did the marketers get bored or something? That's some backwards nonsense right there.
Biggest load of shit !

So if we needed any more proof that the AFL don’t give a shit about or listen to members and supporters then we would be hard pressed to get past this one .
Not one single person thought it was a good idea last year yet here we are again .

The broadcasters obviously thought it was a good idea....
