can you imagine if "laidley" beats us in our 1st match in round one?

Reading the article in the Hun this morning I was thinking the same thing. Thats footy though - people move and take with them a good deal of knowledge. Laidley and Chocko should get on famously. They both have similar personalities and the ability to put people off-side.

Good luck to him.........the reference to facilities is timely however until Laidley speaks ill of North I see no reason to think that there will be anything said by him if Port wins..........

Id like to think he might catch up with a few of the players after the game.

I really can't see any fallout should we lose at our bogey ground with what will perhaps be the least experienced team we've ever seen and with a brand new, untested coach and game plan.

Kind of meaningless worrying about a Laidley factor.

Well he has already stated (I'm paraphrasing here) that Port is a "one million times better place to work" and that "the only reason we aren't on the Gold Coast now is because of him".

Im really looking forward to this game to be honest,

My brother is a North Supporter, and obviously I Port.

I really think both of our teams could be anything, or nothing next year and this game should start to show something either way.

Cant wait for footy to be back.

Surely you guys don't speak after 2007 though right? I wouldn't be surprised if both of you sleep with one eye open, just in case retribution is sought during the night! Good luck to you both.

Yeah, but there not fairing any better in experienced players.

Laidley being there will do nothing for them, remember, Laidley was at Collingwood for a few years before coaching us, yet the first couple of games we played against the pies we copped belting's, i really don't want to remember.

Thats all cool man.

I was just saying, if we lose, I'm not losing any sleep that night (unless my night terrors come back... hate those cobras).

It's what he does with the toothpicks that gives me night terrors

lol, just drink red bull then

(this thread seems to be going in circles)
