OK so now we have 12, 14 and no second round picks this year.

And for next year we have what will almost certainly be pick 20 next year (but no other 1st or second round picks).

That's a really strange strategy if we expect to be getting in points for 2 x F/S players this year.

That's 'big fish' type trading.
 
Would love to go 12 and 14 for 8 and 27 from the Saints.
If we think that there were two quality players that suit our needs likely to be available at 12 & 14 (e.g. Berry and Trainor) I would sincerely hope that we wouldn't. My train of thought is that Austin thinks that there will be.

Might have some later picks coming back for Owies, Kennedy and Carroll to pay for father sons?
 
Do we need to trade in more third or fourth rounders for both Campo boys?

Not quite sure how it works but the three later picks we have currently are only worth the equivalent of pick 67

The club believes those picks will be worth more once father / son and academy bids are accounted for. As someone said, we only those picks to go up by 10 spots to sort out a Ben C bid.
