You’ve questioned the integrity of 1990. Share the rumours, don’t deflect.
They're rumours I have heard. No different to your rumours, or anyone else's rumours. They are rumours. Not deflecting at all.
You can say all you like about supposed breaches in 1995 that actually did not happen.
Do you actually believe that Collingwood have been squeaky clean since the salary cap was introduced ? Seriously , you blokes are the ones with you're heads in the sand if you think that

This will be interesting.

My understanding is it's against Main Board rules to spread misinformation...
I think most people are aware of how much of a hypocrite you are, but it's always good to remind people.
Calling out Carlton posters for mentioning rumours, while liking Pies supporters doing the same...

We finished top 4 last year and had a decent crack at the flag.

Maybe next year the AFL should let Carlton play West Coast 6 times to give them a chance at finishing top 4?

By the way, we actually only played West Coast (and North) once last year. Same as this year. We earn our ladder position on merit.
You still would have had an easier set draw based on your bottom 4 finish in 2021 just like any other team in that position

Can't remember where I got this... but it's evidence 😆

So again , it's not factual.
It's like Caro saying " it's my understanding...." knowing that whatever is reported , if wrong , cant come back to bite her as it is what her sources have told her.
Unless you can bring up a link from the AFL that Carlton were fined , suspended or whatever , then it's total bullshit and misreported. But it is the HUN , so it's more than likely rubbish

Talk about head in the sand….
Well you wanted evidence, there it is

Personally I couldn't give a rats, Blues copped a big whack and I always assumed burying 95 was part of the deal, no one wants to see a title vacated NRL-style
Even if I personally believed that there was a strong chance that we breached the cap in 1995 (not saying I do or don't), a newspaper article is NOT evidence and we were found guilty of, or punished for breaching the cap in a flag year.

Not sure why burying any wrongdoing for 1995 would be an issue for the AFL. They found Essendon guilty of breaching the cap in 1993 and didn't take their flag off them, so they've demonstrated that this doesn't matter to them. If we were guilty, they'd have no issue saying it.

Did we though? Is that a fact?

How do you explain away Collingwood's top placed finish this season?

Whose fixture was hardest? Pies defy odds, Dockers miss chance - Whose fixture was hardest? Pies defy odds, Dockers miss chance

And what about Carlton's 'easy draws' for the entirety of this century?
I wasn't explaining away any of Collingwood's success at all. Not everything is an attack on Collingwood

And your point about Carlton is way off. Bottom teams should be getting the easiest of draws in the comp - unfortunately we weren't so lucky in a lot of these years

2019 - Carlton after finishing last in 2018 (with only 2 wins!!!) had a more difficult draw (based on Champion data rankings) than Richmond who made a prelim plus six other teams

2020 - Carlton's fixture was ranked 6th hardest despite finishing 16th in 2019, and this was harder than 7/8 of the top 8 teams from 2019

2021 - Carlton's fixture was again ranked as the 6th hardest despite finishing 11th (7-10 record) in 2020, and this was more difficult than 5 of the top 10 teams from 2020

2022 - Carlton's fixture was ranked the easiest of the comp (thanks to the fact they finished 13th which puts them in the bottom 6 group for "weighted" fixturing) but it ended up being far from that due to the significant improvement of 3/5 of their double-up opponents who all missed finals in 2021 (Pies, Dockers and Tigers). Carlton ended up playing 11/22 games against the top 8 (only Giants, Saints and Bombers played more with 12).
