I prefer the version where well run clubs who draft, trade and develop well enjoy a level of success.

You can do all you say and still end up with peanuts - all depends on the script that needs to pan out AFL regularly fixes outcomes in games by changing rules to suit their script...see Cockchin not being scrubbed out of GF last year- see Barry hall see many other examples of fixing outcomes to suit their product requirements.

Carlton being stupid enough to not be interested in list management or development( still the case re development btw) or sticking with failed senior management - still the case btw or doing all sorts of things wrong - doesn't mean other Clubs don't get a helping hand.

Melbourne managed themselves as badly as a someone playing Russian Roulette with 5 loaded chambers and the AFL were only too happy to assist them.

'Faux' is an odd term and made even more worse when combined with 'outrage', so you can have it. :)
People pretending to be outraged and setting out to be outrageous has hit very high proportions.
Saying something with conviction just doesn't seem to be enough, but being outraged seems to garner more weight.

I was against the PP for matters of principle but right now I'd love us to get it just to see Whateley being even more outraged. Idiot!

Man **** Whateley’s Carlton hating b**** a**. The AFL needs Carlton back on their feet because they know the supporter base is huge. Whateley is so clearly trying to run the AFL through the media. Goofy lookin ass

What team is in a situation not of their own doing?
Apparently every team but us.
Cripps on Ch7 asked about his future and if he was going anywhere.

“No mate, I like it here.....,we’re building something special.” :):):thumbsu:
They had to ask didn't they? Do they ask every player who comes from another state if they will go home? No, just Carlton players.
Not the answer they were hoping for.

desperate for a "always like to keep my options open" or "I'm happy at carlton for the time being" so they can run with "cripps leaves door open on contract".......bzzzz............wrong bloke.........deadshits........
