Just cannot stop thinking about the prospect of us picking up young Kossie Pickett. How brilliant for the young fella it will be, to have Eddie their to mentor and befriend him.a bonus to have at the club on many levels but let's not expect climate change solutions and middle eastern peace from eddie - just goals and leadership.....
Of course Eddie will be 100% concentrating on getting the best out of himself. In what will be most likely his final season.hear that, but it ain't eddie's role to keep any player focused on his football - he's supplementary to the club and the coaching staff - he's not core.....
I heard him earlier in year on radio talking about really bad infection and in hospital for weeks. He turned up to 1979 grand final re-union with a crutch, probably should not have but still did. But had to miss Kenny Hunter night inducted into Hall of Fame that he would have loved to be at too. Not heard from him since that night. Hope he is ok, he said in hospital it was looking iffy at one point. Hope he making a full recovery. For all his ups in life, man he lived through some really tough times too. Can only wish him the best.anyone hear johno on GuesSEN today talking about that infection in his leg? ******* hell.........
Everyone does that seen him play.I ******* loved The Dominator.
Certainly one of my all time favourites. That left peg of his was so deadly around goal's. He just oozed class and self belief. I ran into him once in the small hours in a nightclub. I reckon i was awe-struck. Could not say a word, you could say i was legless and word less.I heard him earlier in year on radio talking about really bad infection and in hospital for weeks.
