An embarrassing best season for any club...but that is how far Carlton have fallen.

Just checking, but you do realise that Carlton aren't on the rise. You wear navy blue, not brown and gold. So you finished lower than 2023.

No argument re 2024 - Pies were clearly middle of the road, premiership hangover and all that. But we still beat Carlton twice, and were better than em.

Carlton haven't moved past middle of the road this century.

Their best years - 2011 after building for a decade they managed a close SF loss. Then in 2023 after building for 10 years they had a close SF win.

Pity that in their two best seasons, the Pies played in GF both times.

Poor Baggers, it will take a while to accept that 2023 was like 2011...the peak.

The slide started in 2024, list manager is already going to the draft as he knows this group aint up to it.

They have problems with small forwards, and they ditch their leading small forward goalkicker and then they plan on drafting the most injury prone youngster in the draft. They have not one youngster 24 and under that can play. Their list has gone so far backwards that it is ridiculous.

I'm happy we didn't go for Houston. I'm just unhappy the Pies got him.

Imo pick 3 and a 2nd rounder far better for our list build so long as we pick a good kid at 3.

Houston wasn't and isn't a need for our list, he would have been a luxury. Pick 3 gives us a crack at a player of need.
