See, good clubs don't need 25 x top 5 draft picks to try to build a premiership list.

Good clubs identify weaknesses in their lists, and find players who can play roles to address those weaknesses.

You guys have bagged Billy Frampton for the last two years. He's a premiership player.

Oleg Markov was delisted from both Richmond and The Suns before Collingwood identified something in him that could help their club. He is also a premiership player.

Build the best list you can each year, and put the best team you can on the park each week - the approach is very simple.

Seriously if you're genuinely excited about a delisted free agent, you should probably just give up.

You shouldn't even have expectations of them at all, let alone relying on them to improve you.

They're a 'break glass in emergency' setup, not a best 22 hole-fixer.

Delisted free agents are where you find duds like Oleg Markov. Can’t win premierships with players like that, so fair whack
