Yeah just win. Given our track record against bottom sides, I'll be happy with the 4 points. Don't want to sound like Richmond supporters who were so adamant that they would smash Bulldogs by 60 points minimum.

But I have one request. Can we please relax in the 4th quarter?

How long can we maintain the intensity and pressure on the opposition week in week out? I'd say this is a danger game just because i cannot see the players feeling the same way as they have the past two weeks... I'm not sure what our plan B is at this stage? With Bomber we tried to develop a tempo format, but now he's gone we have no idea how the team will go about it this week with Hird calling the shots.

Based on the way each team has played thus far, it will be decided in the first half. With both teams stumbling around aimlessly for the final hour.

This game will test us. We have to bring intensity and pressure to bear against an opponent who looks vulnerable - as a team we've struggled in games against opposition that we're expected to win against.

Carlton will not repeat last weeks woeful performance - I expect them to lift their pressure against us. They are definitely a better team than their current form suggests. Hopefully they bring it to us - nothing else will do justice to the rivalry.

They're really not.

I hope the boys watched Hawks this week and realise every game is a danger game. Don't get ahead of ourselves, and destroy these mother****ers.

**** Carlton!

think its time to give somebody else howletts spot for an extended period.

out howlett, gwilt

in fletcher & some inside support (hams, kav) or some outside support (dags, fanta, browne, dempsey, edwards)

The one thing I will say about this week is we have to score more. Between 60 and 80 points won't do it against most sides, need to bring that up to roughly 90-100
