Just quietly, big Dom had a great game today....
30 & 8 tackles, Cooper Lord ladies and gentlemen.
Doesn't seem to have much presence.
Might be old school - and a bit obvious - but I'd be saying for the rest of the year just get front position. I don't care if you mark it or not but you have to claim that space.
Mirkov had 45 hit outs and 9 clearances. 13 disposals and 2 tackles. Are we sure he’s not ready. I’d love to have a ruckman that the other team are forced to steal taps off.
Tied for the Coleman now.
He's improved that's for sure, the writing is still on the wall though.
If we traded Pittonet could he play as a backup to TDK? I dunno..

I thought that was easily Akuei’s best game. Looked like an AFL defender. But, again, is it too late? Maybe not if Marchy retires…

Mirkov and Akuei both deserve e another year imho. Plenty of guys that have had their go can move on.
We do need to pick up McMahon in the draft coming up before someone else takes him. He would be perfect to replace JSOS while he’s getting his legs back under him in VFL next year. TDK 1st ruck and McMahon pinch hitting is handy also.

Just hope he's more Witts and less Warnock.
We should probably trade Pittonet anyway as O'Keeffe is good to go when fit. Can even play KPF when we're down one.
At this stage, Mirkov is still #3 in that scenario, but if we consider the flexibility of TDK & O'Keeffe that works for our list.
Thought he was BOG today....followed closely by Lord, McMahon and Dom

Is Walter a sneaky chance for drafting?
We can't keep re-listing them though if the MC has no interest in playing them. Better off helping them finding a club where they have a shot at getting a game.
But I assume he'd still have to nominate for the draft to be eligable to be signed as a DFA?
While not a great pack mark MCMahon is on the move and was able to still get opportunities even when we were terrible.
Have to wonder why Pies cut him after 2 years.
Definitely worth a rookie spot as we need more talls. Also he is a fantastic kick at goal

Is Lord another Fogarty type but with more ability to play through the mid-field.
Could he also spend time as a small pressure forward - in other words is he potentially a better version of Fog ??
