Since we haven't played Carlton this year I haven't really been paying attention, but does Brett Ratten usually not shut up in the lead up to a game?
Strange bloke.
About as chatty as Lyon - does that make him strange?

If Carlton really are coming, they have to make a statement and no better statement then to beat the Saints in Rd 12 on a Friday night.
At the moment there are only three teams; Geelong, Hawthorn and St.Kilda.
If Carlton can knock off the Saints, which i think they can..... then they really are coming!
Carlton by 8 pts
It's an ear thing - I think he might be channeling radio transmissions from neighboring galaxies.
Would have thought that Thornton/Jamison (whoever isn't on Kosi) would play on Schneider and do a good job limiting him.
Schneider will have to move into the midfield to get a bit of the ball which is a win for the Blues.
Gardiner may win the taps, it's on the Blues midfield to shark them or force another stoppage.
They're going to put heaps of effort into stopping Judd which should free up our other midfielders.
Say what you want about Banno, what he does have is a massive tank, he can run all game and he can stick to his opponent. I'm very confident he'll be a good addition to the side.
Maybe, But I think he may need Betts to play a bit part and kick 10-12.

^Whats he said thats so out of the ordinary?
Apparently he talks to the media rather than giving them death stares or abusing them like some non-domesticated coaches do.

I s'pose he does.
It's done.
Sorry St. Kilda, the streak ends here.
From watching before the game you would of thought carlton won.

To be fair Essendon is a very good team.
Take a look at our run. Melbourne, Carlton, Collingwood and Sydney. Very realistically could win our next 4 games especially with returning players from the past couple of weeks with a couple of games under their belts. Sets us up nicely in the last 4-6 weeks of the year.Probably the best 11th placed team I have seen for a long time!
