Not the week to make a statement, especially when the alternative is Cordy
Keath is injured - it’s obvious, and has been for weeks . He cannot run

Not the week to make a statement, especially when the alternative is Cordy
Called it... Go watch Cordy's two games against Charlie Dixon late last year if you want some reassurance that he could do the job on Hawkins this week - particularly compared to the version of Keath we currently have. One from left field - could Cordy come in for Keath as a dedicated match up on Hawkins? We've seen Cordy do a great job on Dixon in the finals last year, feel like he's our best defender for the less mobile gorilla forwards. He's also got enough ruck experience to hopefully be able to at least nullify Hawkins at throw ins. Keath's obviously been struggling recently, possibly carrying something, so a week off might leave him in better condition for the final 3 weeks.
Mcomb for McNeil shows accountability doesn’t existI understand the Keath one, he hasn't been great and while he is a much better player than Cordy, keeping everyone accountable etc is fine.
But Mccomb in for McNeil isn't great.
McComb, what a joke. Wasn't even properly dropped, Bevo's lover boy gets to be sub and that is enough to earn selection again. Keath hasn't been good but Cordy is finished as a first team player.
If they are full strength, and your 2 key backs are Gardner and Cordy, you have no chance.Sounds like we’re practically full strength except for maybe Doc, no excuses we can win thisI
He was the super sub definitelyWe were 13 points down last week when McComb came on. He was the difference in the last 10 minutes.
Pretty much this. On top of this - our defensive line is our weakest line, at full strength it still gets absolutely dominated by the Cats. This doesn't get won there and as far as I'm concerned (whilst Adam Treloar is playing in defense) our midfield and forward lines are at full strength.I'm not sure that who we select as the 22nd best player is the difference between winning and losing. Neither McComb nor McNeil are winning or losing the game for us. Team effort, discipline and an effective game plan will be more important.
Welcome to the Western Bulldogs changes thread where a melt means we're more likely to win and a calm room means we're a shoe in for a loss.Thought I'd pop in to get a sense of your optimism and I'm surprised the majority don't seem confident.
I rate your midfield the best in the comp currently and you should smash us in clearances
I get that Hawk and Cameron will likely kick their share, they do even against the best anyway. This will be won in the midfield I think, I just hope our backline can absorb enough of your inside 50s.
Will be close I think!
