Who should come in, who should go out. That's the gig on this thread.

Dare I say it...

In - Dowler

Out - Murphy

Look. like I don't like Dowler.... I just can't see how he deserves a place at Hawthorn. Because he needs a lift in confidence? That won't work with Clarkson. He wants toughness...

Can't see why you would want any change?

BHH had a bye.... maybe Ladson for Murph... horses for courses, but think that's unlikely.

No change.

Anybody know the last time that happened?

I'm tipping the Prelim and Grannie in 2008.

By the way, Murphy earned his spot today.

When has the Shoe ever earned his? Only played through necessity and had 1 good match v Cloke last year and a couple of serviceable ones.

Generally been thrown to the wolves.

Thats not his fault, he is only a kid who can now concentrate on stringing a couple of good games together and improve his game playing for Box Hill in readiness for his next call up.

Thats how it is supposed to be in footy clubs. Injuries have determined otherwise and I think Shoe has been a victim of that.

As for Murphy, if there's a suitable match up, he plays. No question.

Side unchanged I reckon.

Although sydney can go tall up forward (white, bradshaw, goodes, playfair). Maybe shoe in, but I have no idea who goes out. Based on today all players deserve another go.

Well done to ozzy. Was close to our best when the game was up in the air (for the first 15 minutes of the first quarter...)

As far as I'm concerned, Cobbler is a qualified player that should be the next big body in the backline. He's just hasn't been allowed to be played in his spot... kept being thrown around. But he's only a kid with lots of potential. Compare him to many of the rest that has been on Hawks list: the two Beau's, Thorpe...

Lot of time for WhiteX too now he's getting fitness up.

You must of missed the part where Bradshaw got a bunged knee, White did his ankle, Playfair can't kick a goal and Goodes was needed up field to help our sorry excuse of a midfield. :(

I'd be feeling pretty confident if I was you becasue we're pretty much shot to pieces and you guys finally hit some good form. Interesting little period for both the hawks and swans...

That cammo strip looks awsome. already got 1 on the way.
As for murphy, i hope they have realised that he can only play on smalls. He plays well if his opponent is smaller than him and he can beat them over head. If he tries to wrestle or play on bigger blokes he gets out marked.

Also i think that it stands out more that we flogged them today so makes him look a little better. In saying that, he did a few good things and kept his opponent goalless.
