Dunkley I think.Does Berry go straight to Cripps at the opening bounce or do we wait and see how the game unfolds?
Cripps seems to love dining out on us so it's only logical if Bez is right.Does Berry go straight to Cripps at the opening bounce or do we wait and see how the game unfolds?
Yep whomever is on Weitering needs to get busy. If it's Daniher then he has a blueprint from playing on Taylor: Sitting deep and wrestling BAD getting up the ground GOODAll of the players suggested as possible ins wouldn't disgrace themselves so not concerned which way we go. Though I do have my own preferences like everyone else.
I'd like to find a way of getting Fort and Ah Chee in but thinking neither will happen.
Payne should go to Curnow match up wise. Harris to McKay.
Zorko is a big out, he gives us so much more energy , but win the M/F and we win this game.
Our backs are good enough to cover their forwards if their M/F doesn't get off the chain. Other end we need to put some defensive work into Weitering because he's going to outmark and probably out position any of the talls we have there.
Yeah, pressuring the ball will kill their supply and nullify Curnow. Not so worried about McKay but he takes a lot of nice grabs, so it is just dependent on whether he can kick or not.

That's just insane . You could drum up a better team from those on the sidelines than those playing.Look at this West Coast injury list - all I can say is 'lol':

They have no one kicking goals apart from Curnow and McKay either. Their smalls arent really a threat. Especially with how slow their ball movement is.Excluding playing Norf and the remaining 14 fit players at west coast, Carlton are averaging just 68 points for a game. Curnow playing well, but McKay has been dreadful at kicking for goal and the rest of the forwards don't do much.
Take out our two games against our weakest opponents (Norf and Freo by ladder, though you could argue GWS) and we average 88 points for game.
The only hesitation I have about this one is our form away from home.
And hasnt Petreski-Seton been suspended as well to cap off there unavailables? That's just insane . You could drum up a better team from those on the sidelines than those playing.
It still sticks in my craw because Cripps went on to win the Brownlow with votes when he should've been suspended and Cal who had cemented a spot in the team didn't fully recover last year in my view and hasn't played a Senior game this year.I trust we will try to avoid the Ah Chee vs Cripps matchup this time ... would hate to see poor Patrick subjected to such soul destroying guilt again...
end of the day he was found innocent. ah chee was unfortunate but Cripps didn't seek out to hurt him. wrong place, wrong time.It still sticks in my craw because Cripps went on to win the Brownlow with votes when he should've been suspended and Cal who had cemented a spot in the team didn't fully recover last year in my view and hasn't played a Senior game this year.
Sometimes there's no justice.
Technicality I think.end of the day he was found innocent. ah chee was unfortunate but Cripps didn't seek out to hurt him. wrong place, wrong time.

aren't all suspension decisions based on one or more technicalities? end of the day he was cleared and free to play.I don't think he was found innocent
Thrown out on a legal technicality.
Rubbish. He was not found innocent, he was found culpable by the MRO and charged, and took it to the panel and found guilty, but then the ban was overturned based off some verbiage in the AFL's instructions to the panel. At no point did any of them find Cripps innocent, in fact the reverse. Everyone that judged his actions and not some legal technicality found him to be at fault.end of the day he was found innocent. ah chee was unfortunate but Cripps didn't seek out to hurt him. wrong place, wrong time.
nice revisionist history. there are many cases overturned on appeal. doesn't mean they're guilty.Rubbish. No . No suspensions are based on legal technicalities. Suspensions are based on on field actions. Of that he was found guilty.aren't all suspension decisions based on one or more technicalities? end of the day he was cleared and free to play.
it's not like they gave him free votes. he still had to go out there and earn the brownlow.
I think you should probably shouldnt make the argument on this board. Not likely to be a popular view at all. I dont think this board is as bad as some others, but its probably not the time or placenice revisionist history. there are many cases overturned on appeal. doesn't mean they're guilty.
end of the day he was cleared to play, earned the most votes and is a worthy brownlow medalist.
Is it just me or does anyone else find these Cash Converter ads with highly paid footballers such as Cripps, popping into Cashies to pick up a bargain ,a little weird?
His case was not overturned on the basis of any actions on the fieldnice revisionist history. there are many cases overturned on appeal. doesn't mean they're guilty.

Fair enough. End of the day all of us didn't like to see it, but the carry on to cheapen Cripps' brownlow is a bit childish tbh.I think you should probably shouldnt make the argument on this board.
