Goldy for X, Dawson for Bonar. Bonar was very ordinary. Let's far too many balls over the back. Does not want the ball in his hand. Didn't stand underneath high ball when needed. My left field is Spicer for Stevenson. His speed is elite and what our Fwd line is lacking. Would rather give block of games to him over Stevo.Goldie for Big X,
We need Corr in, don’t know who goes out.
I’d also like to see TT come in for Stephenson or Curtis. Undeniably more dangerous.
Oh heavens no.I like Chom in the ruck - Goldy with mongrel.
Maybe leave him there for X.
Out: xerri, turner (Stevo last chance)
In: goldy, corr
He is an attractive blend of lack of talent, guts and determination, and lack of kicking ability. Don't agree Clarko will have loved his game today. Drop and delist, and keep him delisted this time.Anyone suggesting Turner should be dropped couldn’t have been at the game. He work in organising structure and executing pressure was immense. Not visible on tele. Clarko will have loved his game today.
Gaff had the most MIA 20 possession game in the history of the AFL. He was a non-issue due to Scott's systematic shutdown of him.Yes, I did. Scott wasn't terrible (really, no one was for us today) but we need to make a change to get Corr into the backline. Scott is the most expendable/replaceable IMO.
Bailey Scott was named and started off the HBF.
Take out Scott. Add in Corr. Move Ziebell from CHB to HBF.
This for me alsoOut: Xerri (inj), Scott (omit)
In: Goldstein, Corr
Don't need drastic changes, I reckon.
On todays performance he'd be lucky to retain his spot. Had little impact.Theres no way Stephenson is being dropped lol.
For me:
Out: Xerri, Bonar, Taylor
In: Goldstein, Corr, Thomas
Swap Phillips and Bergman as sub, so essentially Phillips and Bergman in/out
4 changes might be too many, and im not sure what Tarryns situation is, but hes so far above the reserve grade it isnt even funny. Maybe one more week.
Bonar ain’t being dropped
We need a big bodied ruckman to go against Darcy. Goldy has to come in. Chom/Hugh would ruck against JacksonI like Chom in the ruck - Goldy with mongrel.

I think we're doing a disservice to Bonar. He's not a defender. Someone posted a video of his highlights this week, he's much better as a big bodied mid or half forward, like he was at GWS.Why not…?
He was poor for large parts of the game.
It was pretty clear at the game that he often mistimes his leap at the footy, is bodied out of contests too easily, gets lost when the ball hits the deck and doesn’t have very good positioning & game sense when opposing mids are around the 70-80m region - all of these factors completely negate his athletic abilities.
Also, his disposal and decision making is haphazard and I don’t actually think our team trust him with ball in hand.
I think Corr and Dawson show far more immediate benefits to the team as defenders and we should be playing them accordingly.
If we want to persist with Bonar in this role, that’s fine, but there’s a reason we have a reserve team to help develop our players.

Why even comment if you clearly didn’t watch the game properly?Bailey Scott was named and started off the HBF.

You think because a team sheet named Scott at HBF it means he actually played there?
He played the wing alongside Shiels, just like he has done all preseason, and destroyed Gaff. Incredible how anyone could watch today and not see this.
Bonar will stay in I think.
Edit: to clarify I think Clarko saw a lot of WCE scoring opportunities occur with balls spilling out the back of packs, which happened because we were too short in defense. I think both Bonar and Corr play next week.
I watched the game from start to finish. Maybe it was different at the ground but from the broadcast I didn't notice Scott a huge amount. Why even comment if you clearly didn’t watch the game properly?
