Yeah I’m not saying he’s a gun, but I think it’s unfair to assess the combination of lycett and vardy based on the game against meblourne, as it was pretty much just lycett one out.

If lycett leaves for enough to get us band two compo I wouldn’t be against that, but we would be desperately short in that department.

Adelaide finished first last year and played Thursday night! It is the VFL. They won’t play a Thursday night final in Melbourne, it is up to Adelaide, Perth or Sydney to host it.

I always thought it was the top 4 in primetime slots, Friday and Sat night. Elimination finals in the arvo slots on Saturday and Sunday. No idea what’s going on with Thursday’s, no one wants them.

AFL don't give 2 shits about anyone who does not live in Victoria. They know that we will fill Optus on a Tuesday afternoon let alone a Thursday night so will make us play on a Thurs at a shit time to make sure it is convenient to Victorians so the rest of the games can be on a decent time and day.

They should make 1 v 4 play first in QF1 so if they are thinking a Thursday night it should be them... but no way in hell will they make 2 vic teams play on a Thurs.

Yeah just don’t get why there’s a Thursday game at all. Friday, 2 Saturday’s and a Sunday would work fine. To bad if you’re playing on a Sunday, should’ve finished higher up the ladder

I completely agree. My son reckons don't complain, just play and if you lose you have a week and a half to prepare for the next game. Sometimes you've got to let it be known that it's an effing stupid idea.

Cox is just getting free kicks in front of goal. A good overhead mark will dominate him.
