Cody Weightman to kick two goals - both from over the shoulder free kicks
Xerri to PB his hit-out tally.

If Thomas was playing I'd think we have a sniff, but we're too far down on class right now imo.

We should have a specialist goal kicking coach.
I've been banging on about Anthony Rocca for a couple of years now, but there have to be others available too.

He will be there on Friday arvo ...

Bevo pretty much confirmed Cordy in. Pretty much confirmed no Crozier and Hannan sounds unlikely as well. Also mentioned there are a couple we’d like to debut you soon.

Sounded like Wallis is a genuine chance too.

What score do you expect North to kick? I'm just trying to figure out how many behinds we're going to need to get there.

Depends how straight we kick lol. I will be very surprised if we crack 100.

70-80 likely.

Melbourne lost Lever and Petty at the beginning of the season and were able to bring in Tomlinson and Joel Smith. Brown goes out Wiedeman comes in. They play 2 rucks.
Brisbane have Jackson Payne who can’t get a game for example and plenty of other examples around the league.
All of these types are depth and would very likely get a game for us.
We have literally nothing developing in the VFl apart from a traditional ruck type in Sweet who mainly gets “development” opportunities as a key forward.
It’s negligent.
Sorry but you’re starting to sound like someone who is struggling to see the forest through all the trees.

When a team is going well, it can cover up a lot of problems, similarly when you are going poorly as a team moderate issues can seem almost insurmountable. The reality is always somewhere in between.

If we win this week, all of a sudden our list will miraculously look much stronger.

“Starting to sound”? How many posts have I made on this subject?
If we win this week it’s exactly as it should be as North Melbourne are incredibly poor. It won’t make up for the fact that it’s glaringly obvious that this list is unbalanced.
I think with you’re struggling to see any trees, let alone a forest , in your rose coloured glasses.

A member of my family got $6.70 Norf to win which is downright rediculous. Not saying who.

I'm seriously considering the $5.50 or thereabouts I can get right now. That's a ludicrous price based on last weekend's performances from both teams.

Betting against your own team goes against the grain. But, over the past 4 weeks, it's been a very lucrative investment.

Just an emotional hedge - don't do it every week, but when they're playing like this and the opposition is a big price it's a no-brainer for me. Means a loss covers commiseration gifts/ice cream/chocolate/whatever for what will be two distraught kids if North beat us, and a bottle of something nice to drown my sorrows in over the weekend.

Yep I'd be loading up on whichever platform let's you cash out. Unless we blow them away in the first quarter they'll come in from $5.50 during the match.

Is that the Bont you all hate for some reason?

It is your board so I won't go into the reason, but yes, and you would too if the situation were reversed.

Don't get me wrong. I think that when it comes to betting, emotion and loyalty shouldn't come into it. It's purely a financial decision. Looking at it positively, a small wager gets you a profit if we lose but if we win, that easily compensates for the couple of bucks you lose. A win-win? Well, perhaps not quite!

Hey guys, sorry for the the intrusion.

From interstate and my sister and family had 3 tickets but have been struck down by Covid and can't attend. If you or anyone you know would be interested in 3 tickets on level 2 just send me an inbox. Price very negotiable obviously.

Good luck this weekend.

We kick 7-2 in the first qtr last week and it could have been very different. We dominated that qtr.

Can't see us losing to them....unless we kick 2.19.

How many times in the last 5 years have we been saying if we just kicked straight though

This. Put $100 on Richmond last week, showing $2.18 on quarter time. Was watching it with the better half and when Richmond got about 3 in front said to her" We're gone. Thank **** I will get something out of this ****show because I put some money on Richmond. She said "How can you back against your own side?" I replied easily, when it comes to the punt I follow my head not my heart.
