Did ok when he was around the ball - he isn’t a forward. But understand where you are coming from, just think the kids can’t keep playing one game then being dropped.

I'm sure he played because there is no VFL, which is a good idea because the kids need to be playing, same with lynch

Hope out of the bench It is Daicos, Murphy, Rantall, Thomas/Brown

So Cameron can continue to stink it up as a forward but gets games and Cox who at least has been getting 2 goals a game when he’s been playing gets screwed. They both have limitations but I prefer the guy who can actually get a few goals even if they are freebies from free kicks. The club needs to make the dees work for it. Stretch them and play 3 talls instead of the same game plan one more time just for the sake of it.

From who is named on bench you would think Thomas Daicos and Murphy are certainties. Last spot probably Brown. Madgen maybe the sub
With Cox Rantall and Wilson to miss ( the basketball trio)

No surprise with Mayne and Beau back, I had predicted Cal might stay sub and Rantall keeps his spot with a chance to play midfield, but I now think they will swap around.

Thomas, Murphy and Daicos seem a clear three to be included at this point

Cameron is 7th in the comp for average contested marks and has Cox shadedon everything this year except goal average

Was quiet last week but took two contested grabs in the dying minutes to help get the win

If anyone should be dropped for Cox, it’s Lynch

Cox to has had similar contested marking averages so it's not like he doesn't take them. The issue for Cameron is that his scoreboard impact has dried up and while he's in the team for the dual role of ruck-forward he needs to be at least impacting the scoreboard. He has 2 goals 1 in his last 4 games, 0-1 in the last 2. Cox was dropped after 1 game of zero goals. Cameron will come under increasing pressure if he can't turn that around this week.

surely u can’t pick lynch over cox to ruck against Gawn? Lynch will get destroyed, Cox at least has a chance:
I'm just going with the fact Lynch is named in the starting 18. Have they usually omitted someone not on the extended interchange bench?

I agree. Would prefer Cox.
However with Lynch named in the starting 18, looks as though Cox will miss out.
Bench to be Daicos, Thomas & Murphy Brown.
sub: Rantall or Madgen

Does anyone remember in 2010 when we were on top of the world and Melbourne were languishing on the bottom of the ladder and in the 2 games we played against them we won by a point and then had a draw?

I would like Melbourne supporters to feel as frustrated, tense and confused on Monday as I did in 2010.
