Worst time ever for the Burgers to have a bye. Not sure they would bring him in without one more really good game now that Nahas is playing his best footy

Same. Its ludicrous. Mind boggling. Crazy. Silly. Dumb. What else can i say.
My thinking was that Nason could replace Edwards as the sub.

we should be playing our best 22 possible every week

here is what we should line up as when everyone is available imo
fb: newman moore thursty
hb:farmer rance connors
c jackson martin cotchin
hf king mcguane deledio
ff astbury riewoldt morton
foll: vickery foley tuck
int: post nason white
sub: somebody that can make an impact asap

Dimma thinks Tuck won't be apart of our next premiership side and he maybe right, but on breeding you'd say he might.

All the Tiger fans and other AFL fans all asking the same question.

Why is he not playing??

In- Cousins :p, Tuck, Webberly

Out- Grimes, Edwards and Astbury

This youth thing has gone too far.

Cost us a win against the Saint's.

Develop players by all means but have a crack early doors ffs.

who do you have lining up on Dawes and Cloke ?

Grimes and Astbury were the best 2 KPD we had to chose from.

I think Edwards as the sub was the last step before being dropped which should happen this week to be replaced by Webberly

Without a Coburg game this week, it will be hard to gauge who the replacements should be .

I really can't see how next week isn't gonna get real ugly for us

Surely you would bring in Webberley before Nason. In last week's Coburg game Webberley was better than Nason
Nup. Nason did nothing wrong last year. I still think Webberley is too slow.

I wouldnt make changes this week. We dont really have a chance of winning. The week after is the opportunity to make changes against the roos. May as well give the kids another week of experience against a top side. The week after mcquane, rance are elligable to play and i think good time to bring back tuck. And we may even bring miller in to change things around

No changes. Players need to redeem themselfs against collingwood. And learn from the top team in the comp.

Disagree. We need at least one experienced bigger bod to go down back, Thursty or maybe Miller.

We were lucky we matched the Hawks in stoppages, clearances and inside 50`s, but somehow i dont see Collingwood allowing us the same. If its dry and we let Cloke and Dawes run riot, then this might get so ugly it will be embarrassing to the club. A development strategy/mentality can only take you so far.

The issue with us is goalscoring abilty.

Last night we had 53 inside 50s to the Hawks 51 yet we lost by 63 points.
The delivery into our forwards as well as the effectiveness of our forward line are key points.

(The wet didn't help...but it certainly didn't hurt the hawks).

On this basis, my changes for increased forward pressure;

INS: Nason, Tuck
OUT: Conners (14 disposals/8 clangers - needs a spell), either Titch or Morton

I'd give Tuck a go at FF, Jack HF and Vickery CHF move Conca off the backline to the forward line, Nason wing.

didnt see him put his head over the ball with Hale coming the other way at speed? did not flinch. took hale a minute or two to get off the ground, Houli jumped to his feet and ran to the next contest.

Yep, saw that and I don't reckon he saw Hale.

Look at the other instances where he did see someone coming and he stopped.

I WOULD give serious consideration to giving Astbury a stint at Coburg.
It's one thing to cite the much over-used "D" word - development - and need to get games into players, but for mine playing him right now is counter-productive. His confidence is shot! He needs to regain form and confidence elsewhere.
I'd like to see Miller given a crack. He competes at every opportunity and brings the ball to ground if he doesn't take the mark.
For mine, in Miller, Thursfield, Tuck and Nason.
Out: Edwards, Astbury, Connors and Batchelor.
Graham on his last chance ... been woeful!!!

No changes. Players need to redeem themselfs against collingwood. And learn from the top team in the comp.

so if players perform well at coburg we should just ignore them so underperformers can have a chance to redeem themselves. just when do we give players a chance to show that they can do better.

for me depending on how players have gone at coburg and in an attempt to play good structure have enough good kicks and decision makers have enough size experience and players who can get their hands on the ball id go with something like this.

b/ grimes - gourdis - newman.
hb/ deledio - astbury - dea
c/ grigg - martin - cotchin
hf/ conca - post - morton
f/ vickery - riewoldt - king
r/ derickx - tuck - foley.
int/ batchelor - helbig - jackson - houli.

dunno what the ins and outs are but plenty of height its also a side with genuine size. in the main good ball users enough who can find the ball plenty of pace. one good thing theres only 3 or 4 who have serious disposal queries about them.they are gourdis whos job should be a shut down one, king whos there as a defensive small tuck who is needed for his inside work and jackson who has to be given a shut down job on swan.
would be really tempted to give deledio a job on pendulbury not so much tag but go head to head.

Im looking hard but i think you have overlooked Nahas.

did i not mention picking players with plenty of size good ball users and can find plenty of the ball. sort of rules him out dont you think.
weather you can see it or not, weather robbie plays the odd decent game hes a very ordinary afl player.
what makes me laugh is people are saying hes had another good game when the reality is hes likely done nothing but battle away like the battler he is.

Yeah.... McGuane at CHF and Thursfield in the team.... worst post this season.

If there is ever a game where Miller should play it's this week. He was brought to the club for leadership and experience, and should be told he will play anywhere form deep to a roaming forward to even lose in defence.
Not sure who goes out for him but he must play IMO.

take out grimes and put gourdis in
take vickery out he has played ordinary put in post
and either tuck, webberly or farmer if he is not injured for connors or edwards
and conca should have a go at hf

Out: Grimes (Not ready), Edwards(useless), Connors(lazy), Graham(Just didn't play well enough against rubbish Hawthorn rucks)

In: Thursfield/Gourdis, Nason, Derickx/Browne, Webberly/Tuck
