We already traded out our first 2 picks this year to get Sinn.
No, we still have our first rounder. Thank Christ for that because it's shaping up to be a top 5 pick.

Probably. He has probably been our most consistent player over the first two rounds, and unquestionably our best player over our last 3 games.
And for a team that plays such stagnant football, he at least tries to offer run from defence. A favourite play is to run by team mates who have taken possession looking for the quick handball.

I don't think there's really any changes that will make us look better, but it's time we blooded Hayes, and Frederick deserves more opportunity. I imagine we'll bring in Gray as well, whether he's alright to play or not.

So he will fit right in.
I don’t care, just play him 5 to 10 games. If he doesn’t make it, he’s gone.. he is no different to the rest of them who haven’t made it…
Wouldn’t take much to match rozees output at the moment.
So you're rewarding players that don't deserve a chance...

Am i the only one that thought bonner is a clanger waiting to happen

It's interesting, he seems to play on instinct, but when our players aren't where he expects them to be, he struggles.

Where he expects them to be though, is where they should actually be.

In the last quarter he kicked long into the 50,about 40m out directly in front. This was off a relatively slow play from the back. There was not one port player in the vicinity.

You can blame him, yes, he shouldn't have kicked to nobody... But why the hell didn't we have someone there? That is where we expect the ball to go.

Sicily was there, he marked it uncontested.

Bonner has been fantastic. His bizarro form line of being shit up until last year's prelim when the team had been good and then suddenly turning into a good player at the exact moment that the team turned to complete crap is actually quite funny.

He was excellent in preseason last year, and in the first game until he did his hammy.

Then came back crap again for a while

It is not the fault of the players, they have been well drilled in the technique of stupid by a master of the discipline, and I'm actually starting to believe that last season's PF loss was engineered just to spite Schofield in a fit of cult of personality

I’m still trying to work out how we managed to have so much of the ball and get thrashed.
Get Hayes in for Finlayson.
Dumont for someone else.
We are seriously screwed for a tall in defence.

Monty can coach while we shop around.

in all seriousness, we need to put the cue in the rack and start seleting players who will be around in 3 years time

Because we bombed it I50 blind without a second thought who we were kicking to. Sicily & Frost match high 9 intercepts each, Scrimshaw & Hardwick not far behind on 7 each.

The Hawks just strolled through the middle of the ground with ease and created goals.

What do you mean? We are already playing all the players that will be around in 3 years. Only one who isn’t playing yet is Hayes.

From last nights match.

Motlop? Nope. Boak? Nope. Jonas? Nope. Lycett? Nope. McKenzie? Nope. Skinner? Probably not.

6 players need to be replaced, and that's just from last night

This defensive problem is huge right now. I have no idea how we fix it. With Aliir and Clurey out and McKenzie being barely able to move, we are fkd. Jonas can’t take the big forwards and Skinner is so incredibly slow and not up to it.

We need to be creative here. We need to desperately hope Dixon is back. I would be picking Dixon and Hayes and dropping McKenzie and Skinner. Put both Finlayson and Marshall in the back lines and play a forward line of Dixon, Mitch and Hayes / Lycett. It can’t be any worse than what we are dishing up right now.

Yea I get that. But with who? We don’t have anyone afl quality to replace them with.
