Nothing against Tarrant, I want him back in the side eventually but if he plays this week I'll be annoyed.

If brad plays Tarrant after only half a game in the 2's at 50% pace he'll end up being a tampon. In for 1 out for next 3

Grima ruled out. I think they will go with Tarrant.

In - Tarrant, LT & Jacobs
Out - Wright, Daw & Adams

Have a feeling Jacobs might get a run after another huge VFL game. Make him sub and give Anthony a full game. Anthony can't be sub again - he plays a full game in either the AFL or VFL.

Adams has a knock and we have been conservative all year.
One more week in the vfl for taz I reckon but agree with your other 2 changes of Adams and wright out and LT and Jacobs in

Going by Scott's comments I reckon Tarrant will come straight in this week. And unlike many on this board, I support that call.

“He’s a supreme athlete, so with most players you’d suggest he’s a bit underdone, but he’s a bit of a rare commodity in that he’s such a terrific endurance athlete with speed and power.

“He’s probably more of a chance than others would be.”
I think that's a good translation of BradSpeak™ but it didn't sound like Daw was going to be dropped any time soon either from that presser.

I read it as Brad trying to soften the blow for Majak.

I'm tipping Maj out and one of Currie/Taz or Brown in.

Scott said he didn't want to mess with the three talks structure. Currie was in the bests for werribee too so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he got a run.

Out of those four I think Maj should play because:

-Taz underdone
-currie useless and predictable as a forward. Rutten would destroy him
-brown still underdone. Wouldn't want to expose him on debut to a monster Adelaide crowd.

Personally I'd stick with Majak this week.

Adelaide-away is another bogey game for us that needs to be dominated from the outset, and while I do believe that Tarrant will at-minimum provide answers regarding our forward line, the boys have worked out how to win as a unit and I'd much rather see experimentation against Melbourne the following week.

“I don’t have a concern with the umpires. They make some mistakes for you, they make some mistakes against you. It all evens up in the end.” Brad Scott.

No it doesn't Brad not when you're on the arse end of it  should have kept out of the whole umpire debate Brad :(
Ummmmmm, why??
He has been one of the few umpires that has been measured and has made intelligent comments. Paul Roos embarrassed himself trying to distract the football world from screaming down his park the bus game plan by blaming the umpires.

That and other players are more deserving of a spot in the side.
Who is more deserving to play the third tall?

Majak? - who is clearly still learning and the team can't afford to carry players in the critical stage of the season.
Ben Brown? - who is still very raw and has missed the bulk of the season so far.
Currie? - who we have all seen in that role. Enough said.

Brown would be lightyears away from being thought about, one would think.

It's playing Majak that is the real experimentation. With Taz you know what you are going to get. At a minimum, you'll get a contest and he'll be out of Petrie's way, while pulling a reasonable defender away. His natural fitness means he will be able to run it out.

Well whatever the case may be lets just get the delivery into the forward line to a high enough standard where Daw's lack of nous and Tas' lack of game-time aren't an issue.

Taz is in for Daw

Love a scoop.

Good for Taz, he must have worked bloody hard on his fitness for our cautious match committee to go with him.

Hope this sees the return of some high scoring from our forward line.

Just happy to be in this predicament - should Tarrant come in for Daw as the third tall? It's a long way from having Currie or, um, or Currie as the only option. I'm expecting Tarrant to come in, play for 3 quarters and then subbed.
