Spot on IMO. Why other don't have Urqs in is beyond me. Exactly the type of player we need, ditto Lower.

I have room for Urquart, but the bloke must start to get more of his own ball.

A purely designated kicker has to set up at least 3 goals to be worth his spot in the side. Anything less is a fail.

Urqs & Lower should be certanties this weekend they both played a ripper against sandy , im confident wells will be back coz at training he was running and kicking freely. I think the time has come to play one of Black or Tarrant. Dont know how Taz played for werribee but i thought Black played alright.

I think the outs should be , Harding-Campbell-Hale/McIntosh-Wright and to replace them should be Urqs-Wells-Lower-Black/Tarrant . There could be a few others after that performance yesterday

B: Thompson - Obst - Greenwood
HB: Wells - Grima - Firitto
C: Urquhart - Ziebell - Bastinac
HF: Thomas - Hansen - O'Keefe
F: Pratt - Petrie - Harvey
R: Goldstein - Swallow - Adams
Int: Garlett - Rawlings - Cunnington - McIntosh

In: Adams, Obst, Garlett, Urquhart, Wells
Out: Campbell, Harding, McMahon, Hale, Wright

Em: Black Norris Lower

Pratt to play defensive forward role.
Hansen to play lead up CHF
Wells and Urqs to the backline to add some class and penetration in kicking.

We miss the boy Liam more the the desert misses the rain.

A bit knee jerk, but wtf:

Four big guys doesn't work. Our rotations drop off and we get run off our feet. Goldy has earned the right to be number 1 ruck. Hale can chop out. Harding has been a huge dissapointment this year. Pratt looks off the pace since his return, as does Campbell. McMahon has been pushed out of the backline because of Rawlings inclusion and just isn't quick enough around the ground. Wright needs a run in the ressies to get confidence and to touch the ball more than 10 times a game.

We need guys that can run and carry and Ed gives us grunt in the middle. The season is alomost shot, so we may as well give more young guys a taste. Norris has earnt in, MacMillan as a touch of class and has good size.

Out: McIntosh, Harding, McMahon, Pratt, Wright, Campbell
In: Lower, Garlett, Urquhart, Norris, Wells, McMillan

F: Thomas - Hale - O' Keefe
HF: Norris - Petrie - Harvey

This is spot on . Leave campbell in instead of McMillan. He just needs game time - and we need his pace.

Don't underestimate MacMillan mate. He runs all day and he uses the ball very well. Something we need badly.

Your obviously know more about him then me - havent seen much of him - but if he is a good ball user and runs all day give him a go. Im all for getting games into the young guys - some tough decisions need to be made on the senior group.

McMahon and Pratt are liabilities in the backline at the moment.

Campbell is a shell of his former self.

Would like to see us only play 3 big men, instead of 4. Hale would be a great player if he led, but he doesnt.

Harding is just flat out shit.

Wright was terrible yesterday also.

Dont think there will be wholesale changes though. Seems like its Brad's way or the highway.

Would like to see Wells, Urquhart and Lower in the side this week. Maybe Warren for Hale.

And why was Edwards dropped? He works so hard to provide an option. Something we lack.

He had 24 touches playing for Werribee but if his teammates utilised him 50% of the times he ran in to space and created a viable option, then he would have had 44 touches. He uses the ball better than any other player I saw on the park yesterday.

He plays too smart for his teammates at VFL level.

I could be talked in to giving him another run.

He leads to the right spots, looks strong overhead, takes good marks, and looks as natural a forward as we currently have playing. Can kick goals from 50, and in my opinion offers more than Edwards does.

That is, I would rather see Hendo developed than bring Edwards back in. The kid is genuinely exciting in my eyes, and deserves as much AFL game time as he can get.

Bring Warren in for Hale so we're not so top heavy. Hale can **** right off as far as I'm concerned.

I think Edwards should come back in, was stiff to be dropped. A lot on here don't rate him, but he has been working really hard this year. Applying great pressure, and consistently working hard and leading, something the rest of our forwards haven't done as well as him.

The amount of free kicks he is getting this year is reflective of the fact that he is getting in the front spot, putting himself in a position to win the ball. Once again, something not being done so well by others.

Very stiff to be dropped, should get his place back this week.

I agree, but seeing as he missed the second half of the NB match with an AC then we can probably conclude that he will be overlooked again.

4 talls is way too many as we have established. I think we should try a more mobile forward line this week. 3-4 mid size talls and see how it goes. With Petrie and O'keefe being the bigger guys.

F: Edwards, Petrie, Thomas
HF: Norris/Campbell, O'keefe, Warren.

Bit more mobile and we have 4 guys who can lead, compared to 1 or 2. Our leading has been horrible this year. Hale and Petrie in the same forward line doesn't work. If we are going to persist with someone like Wright we also to be persisting with more mature bodies like Warren.

My Outs:

Hale, Wright, Pratt, Harding, Campbell, Mcmahon

Ins:

Edwards, Norris, Urqs, Lower, Wells, Warren

If Harding, McMahon and Pratt were to all go out, you could guarentee that MacMillan would come in.

He had some huge wraps on him at juniors, coaches I respect have told me, he very very rarely makes a mistake with the ball in his hands.

Its a fair wrap in a tall running defender in the modern game.

Considering the shit Pratt and Harding have served up this season, and to a lesser extent McMahon, I'd like to see him in the side on a HBF.
