Assuming there's nothing amiss with Will Hayes I'd go:

OUT: Richards, Lloyd

IN: Cavarra, Greene

And if Hayes is injured I'd probably bring Duryea in if they think he's ready.

But what MC will probably do is ...is ... ummm ...

Actually I have no feckin' idea what MC will do.

For me Hayes was the one player who stood out as not being up to it. That first qtr was woeful. He did redeem himself somewhat with a couple of contested efforts in the last qtr but not sure what he offers.

People are calling for Richards to go and I would not be surprised, however without him AND Vandermeer in the side we'd be so slow.

Lloyd stays in because we need goal-kickers. Please no more running around though!

Out: Hayes
In: Cavarra/Greene/Dale/?

Given up on the ins I'd want to see but here they are anyway
Out: richards, Hayes, Lloyd, r.smith
In: duryea, butler, cavarra, Greene

Ones I expect
Out: Hayes
In: duryea

IN: Lipinski

OUT: Richards

Hayes has been good in my eyes. Solid 2 weeks and has toughness around the contest. Keep him in. R Smith has earned another week purely for his clutch goal kicking.

OUT: Hayes, R. Smith, Lloyd, Bruce
IN: Cavarra, Greene, Dale, Schache
Just a restructuring of the forward line really. Need more blokes who are natural forwards and stop playing mids up there. Bruce and Lloyd have been horrible this season so time for a spell for them. Could have been Richards out instead of either Smith or Hayes, but I just feel he is better than both of them, and has more upside so is worth persisting with. Vandermeer would play ahead of Richards anyhow. Weightman could also have been picked over any of those forwards who I have brought in

FB: Crozier, Gardner, Cordy
HB: Williams, Keath, Johannisen
C: Hunter, Bontempelli, Richards
HF: Dale, Schache, Greene
FF: Cavarra, Naughton, Wallis
FOL: English, Macrae, Dunkley
INT: Daniel, Smith, Liberatore, McLean

Bruce won't be dropped. Despite the easy dropped marks and clangers, he's more competitive under the high ball and a better physical presence than anything else.

In a finals game he's going to be more useful than Schache. Certainly would provide a better ruck contest at stoppages and allow English to roam more which is what we need to do.

Also in the last qtr I saw some signs. Certainly his marking improved throughout the game.

There certainly won't be any major changes given we won.

Out: Hayes (inj?), Richards
In: Lipinski, Cavarra

Hayes has to be injured given he played a little over 50% game time and his fitness is supposed to be his strength.

Gardner is clearly going to be playing the last two games so there isn't any point listing him as an out.

Yes given up predicting changes. We need win it and win my a lot and hope GWS do not belt the crows by a lot. It may come down to percentage with us and GWS. After the crows they play the dees and saints and if they drop one and beat the crows and dockers it will be decided by percentage.

The "Wise Woman" has a day off today, so the changes will have to wait until she can read the cards and scan the tea leaves, she
did tell me last week that Alistair Clarkson has fallen from his throne as king and been demoted to fool, but she was in a trance
at the time and gave no obvious context as to which game.

I'm sticking to my guns, which have been that Bailey Dale should be in the side (have we got six better forwards?). Also don't like changes to teams playing well. Keeping Richards as he has speed and we can afford to carry him whilst a little short of confidence, so;
IN - BAILEY DALE
OUT - HAYES (may be injured anyway).

Also ultimately keen for Lipinski to get back in, so if he was playing well below, then R Smith or S Lloyd may have to make way.

EMERGENCIES FOR HAWTHORN GAME | Lipinski, Greene, Schache, Hayes (if not injured, otherwise Cavarra)

Imagine if...
1) We made the most of our forward entries (our field kicking elsewhere is great);
2) We kicked straighter;
3) Brucey held a couple more marks;
4) JJ made slightly less errors than currently making;
5) Richards regains forms now;
6) The umps didn't deny Timmy English marks or give soft frees against him in defence.

We'd beat Hawks by 15 goals!

IN: Lipinski

OUT: Richards

If we played better players, we wouldn't have needed Roarke's "clutch" goal kicking - if that's what keeps him in, i'm super concerned - I saw Roarke's butcher kicking more than i saw his clutch kicking. Lloyd is best 22 and he isn't the future. We need to see Fergus or if not him, Cav or Lipinski or even Dale.

People are lauding Gardner and say he is improving, but aside from the smother, im still not seeing it. My arseh*le clenches every time he goes near it. There was one where i think Kennedy or Darling marked it unopposed and you look around at who was defending and all i could see was Lloyd, Roarke, Gardner and im not sure who else but it wasn't Cordy or Keath

We should have destroyed the Eagles last night with all their outs and the 5 day break plus being 1 man (Hutchings) down

PLAY THE BEST 22 FFS BEVO!!!
