I just figured with who we are playing and what we needed

To be honest if rather Duggan be playing than mcginnity also,....if someone had said to me 6 weeks ago ginners would be keeping Duggan out of the team you'd think they were crazy

I'm ok with the weather being damp too .....they have Petrie Waite and brown .....tall guys in the wet ...hmm ...did Waite get named ? I only looked at our side (yeah I geez I rate them. Don't I)

Maybe gibson as mentioned to an extent but im pretty sure scott has said that he doesnt play a hard defensive player for the sake of it. If he doesnt have the right player (jacobs) at his disposal then he wont play a hard lock down

The thing is that Nelson did as much if not more than many others. If we do not play him and keep the non performers in, he will not develop and young players will get disheartened as they can see the effort put in by others just as well as the rest of us. Just take Freo as an example, They have persevered with the older players and even replaced injured players with the same old suspects and just given the odd young player a game or two. Now they are in dire staits as the older players break down or lose form and they are forced to throw more young players in just to compete. A lot of these players should have had more games under their belt by now. As a result Freo's list by the end of the year includes 14 players over 28..less one if Pav goes.

Yep, the 'but we played a VFL team' is a strange argument for mine. Looked like he was on Zaharakis most of the game - he'd be a pretty good VFL player.
