Come on 2 unnecessary threads, can't we rage on the team board?

Eagles led at every change but the one that counted because of a pathetic 10 minute period. Hardly flogged.
Some of u guys are embarrassing. Just accept that we lost. If we had won that game would u have even cared about it? Brisbane are a great team and well done to them, in my eyes it was a fair win.

It was late IMO by a few seconds. Going to download a torrent and time it. It wasn't a reason why we lost but corruption of any kind can't be tolerated.
If it happened to any other team would you care? The AFL better investigate this. The ball was outside Brisbane's 50m arc when Black gathered. The time on the clock went 0, siren didnt sound. Black kicked inside 50m to Power who marked. Then the siren went. Power kicks the goal
Timekeeper deliberately held off blowing the siren for at least 3 seconds.
By using the word corruption you are saying that it was a deliberate act on the part of the timekeepers. How do you know it wasn't just an error by them? Or an equipment malfunction? It was late IMO by a few seconds. Going to download a torrent and time it. It wasn't a reason why we lost but corruption of any kind can't be tolerated.
No, the AFL timekeepers are AFL appointed officials. The club timekeepers haven't been used for around 10 years.doesn't each club have a representative in the timekeepers box? if true - this would dispel all doubt i would have thought

What a load of drivel. The timekeepers stop and start the clock dozens of times during a match in response to signals from the umpire. The TV time clock does the same thing but they very rarely match exactly. For the guy who is downloading it to double check, get your stopwatch out and see how close you get - you might even find that the official timekeepers were right and the TV crew got it wrong by those 3 seconds.

Each club supplies 1 timekeeper so if Brisbane timekeeper held off on blowing the siren, so did the West Coast timekeeper

No they don't - refer my previous post. Each club supplies 1 timekeeper so if Brisbane timekeeper held off on blowing the siren, so did the West Coast timekeeper
The AFL reported that the extra time had "zero net effect" on the final score, with both sides adding 1.1 outside of the actual game time.

The result of the round-one clash, won by the Lions by 32 points, will stand despite the AFL discovering that 39 seconds of extra time was played in the second quarter, 49 seconds was played in the third quarter and 73 seconds in the final quarter.
So there ya go. And it did affect the final scoreline, in particular the 3rd quarter..
