Yep just another SANFL stooge here to tear us apart from the inside :drunk:
Or...has SANFL and SACA connections and will use this IP and his knowledge of Olsen and Whicker's dodginess as leverage in our dealings with them.
Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and let him do his best.
Did KT get such a suspicious welcome?

I wasn't here then. Serious question.

After Rob Lucas used parliamentary privilege to claim Keith would be inevitably installed as CEO - in the immediate aftermath of the failed coup against Haysman and prior to his later resignation - and it duly came to pass, there was a substantial groundswell here that believed we were being trojan-horsed.

Me included.

As it happens, KT has been the consummate professional and actually built upon and extended the previous regime's Port-first doctrine.

Still, not a good thing if Rob Lucas has this kind of information.

Hope Davies is the right appointment of course.

Sometimes people just leave you baffled though. Davies is one of the guys that commented at the time of our sanfl request being tossed out the window in favour of the crows sanfl structure. He reminded listeners about Port always expecting to be treated as equals and thus we should accept the crows conditions of entry into the sanfl. Now he's working for us. Integrity.

(The last appointed Eagles supporter we had at the club left after one month stating that with his Eagles background he couldn't do his job at Port with passion. Can't recall his name and position but it was a mate of Haysman, who had asked him to come across to our club.)

Cynicism vs optimism.
Chris didn't join Woodville/West Torrens as a SACA stooge. He didnt move to the SANFL as a WWT plant. I doubt that anyone in the club who will deal with or answer to him will regard him as a SANFL spy.

Rob Lucas knew in advance that Chris Davies was going to get the job at Port? o_O

Where'd you hear that?

Are you sure that Davies is an Eagles supporter?

As I posted earlier he went for the SACA job that Jamie Cox got. He took the job at WWT as he wanted to move back to SA.

Do a search for the thread. Entertaining read. Masterclass in premature ... meltdown

Nobody genuinely believes he is a plant - its a pisstake because of what happened on here when KT was appointed.

Yes, I gathered that.

In fairness, the club was on its knees, the SANFL was marching on Albetr0n with bayonets fixed and Rob Lucas - the smug campaigner - had just got a call he was confident enough to table on the floor of parliament, right.

It's not as if we were instigating a witch hunt on the basis of his preference of tailor - Peter Shearer by the way.

Since when was BigFooty about being fair? :p

Pretty strong background - former State cricketer, involved in district coaching post-retirement, worked in finance, worked for the cricket players association, headed WWT, worked for SNAFL. Very ambitious, reckon he'd be wanting to be a club or competition CEO ultimately. I think we'll get the best of him. A junior KT is a very fitting title.
