Looks like another year that I cant buy a polo shirt. I refuse to buy anything with that stupid Egyptian hieroglyphics, budgie looking thing that is supposed to look like a crow. We had a great looking logo a couple of years back.

I'm happy for kids to have the new logo on their apparel, but dont play me for a chump.

The away guernsey has looked like arse for a long time now. I expect no different to the new one. Its obvious to everyone that the heritage gurensey Roo wore in his 300th, should be our away strip.

We still use the old logo, and I notice it used more this off season on the website. I wonder if they could get a polo with that logo on it.

I buy the Members polo every year, and the 2009 is my favourite of our most recent ones.

jesus that really is a shit guernsey.
You know, as much as I don't like this one, i still see it as a better option that the current rubbish, and that's saying a lot!! At least from a distance, this one looks like it just has Blue, Red and Yellow stripes on the side of the front...rather than that ghastly logo *shudder*

this is, and always will be my favourite non-standard crows guernsey

I've always liked that concept of the Crow swooping down, dividing the guernsey diagonally. Check my avatar.:D

I hate the new logo, and it seems that the mentality behind it is permeating into all the merchandise coming out of the club these days.

Might be clutching at straws here, but the "traditional" option could be the official design, considering the Blue seam goes around the back on that template, as it does on the new home jumper.

Thats a good pick up!

I was told option C was the one that received the most votes.. But id still be shocked if we wear anything but the Murder of Crows

Trigg seems alot like an umpire after a poor decision, no matter how much you argue, he's not gonna change his mind!

i might just wait til its announced before hanging triggy. sure, hes got a lot to answer to, but im not gonna have a hissy fit cause someone on an internet forum said he choose our clash guernsey against popular opinion.
even if it looks like a clown vomited on it.

That really is terrible, too artistic! Port went through that "artistic" phase too... lighting bolt, dolphins making out etc... they're shocking and don't work for sporting guernseys. Also not sure on the use of the word "murder" (even though context is right) in such a marketing campaign. Subconsciously, people associate it as a negative word. In the NBA, Washington changed their nickname from The Bullets to The Wizards due to the negativity around the the "bullet" (especially there).

I'm now fashion designer but would simple swapping of colours from your home guernsey be better... swap the Navy and Yellow around so that Yellow is the dominant colour? Then perhaps make the Red and Navy stipes slightly smaller and lower. It would be bright (would help players spot each other on the field), but none moreso than an Australian ODI top.

Just a thought.

AFL says it has to be predominantly white to be a clash guernsey. You're certainly not alone in thinking the 'Murder of Crows' is a shittruck of a design (not that it will be called that for the reasons you outlined).

Don't remember the dolphin making out strip? Which one was that?

By the way, according to the new guernsey 2013 thread, the update Port clash looks good (IMO) - Still mostly the same but with black side panels - All white is a little tedious for my liking -

...
Because you asked. Feast your eyes on more "artistic" attempts that should be banished from AFL guernsey designs. Teresa Palmer helps with the eye hurt.

The MoC design would look good as a print/poster on a wall though, but not a playing top.

Unless you're Carlton, Richmond or Essendon.
to be fair on Carlton, their clash is predom white.
They do have the light blue jersey though, but they only wear that once or twice a year though right?

Pretty sure it replaced their all white one this/last year.

Yep the sky blue was introduced in 2011 to replace the white one, though they will be returning to some form of a white strip for 2013.
