I've seen dancers after a Collingwood game close to the MCG - they could probably act as cheerleaders. I think the place was called the Royal Hotel? They seemed to work quite cheap - all that was needed was for an empty beer jug to be passed around and filled with cash. They would need to spend some money on their costumes though - I've never seen so many wardrobe malfunctions in one night.

I sort of understand how in the early 1960s watching women in short skirts on the boundary line would be massively exciting for men. But in the era of google images and Redtube I seriously don't get it.

The dancers were, fine, if I had been watching Australia's Got Talent. But on the MCG, they looked like a flea circus. You know what kind of entertainment works well on a huge sporting field? A game of football.

Plus when they were performing the music was even louder than usual. Makes it hard to catch up with friends, relax and do the things that most people go to the game for.

i've done it at the gabba when i was much younger, it's cringeworthy

edit: i see you're 19 apparently, so can understand the thrill - just don't be doing it when you're 30

Collingwood have turned their home games into a joke. This dance squad crap was still there yesterday and with Anzac day being a Pies home game on Friday it looks like they will make a joke of one of the best days on the football calender. Every Collingwood member needs to email their club and urge them to dump this crap straight away and while they are at it, piss off KissCam and DanceCam as well. Its garbage.
