Buy him a Carlton membershipI'll DM you if I see anything untoward.
Put loads of salt on his dinner tonight when he isn't looking. Deflect his attention somehow.
Eventually he will realise he is losing the battle.
I think they're giving them away at the end of every match. And scarves. And guernseys. And badges.Buy him a Carlton membership
Anything that can’t be thrown at the players as theyre walking offI think they're giving them away at the end of every match. And scarves. And guernseys. And badges.
Logic falls down if the compo they would receive is better than anything we can offer them, which could well be the case by the end of the season if history is any indicator when it comes to the bombers and second halves of premiership seasons. That’s what happened with Daniher to the lions.
I noticed them discussing him on page 108I just heard that we are into Callaghan from GWS in a big way

Fat chance. We might have more chance of getting Will Phillips, because I suspect Wardlaw has gone past Phillips in the pecking order. What are your thoughts on snagging Wardlaw in the future? Isn't he mates with Nick?
Regardless of the shenanigans pulled to get there, it’s still a perfect example of a club not matching because compo was better than any trade they’d get.Lions (and Bombers) were very lucky to get away with what they managed to do in the Daniher acquisition (ie. offer a higher number initially to get the Bombers to let him go then spread it out later in a "contract extension").
Unless, as I said, the compo is a more attractive option. If the bombers fall out of the 8 as I expect, and Parish decides to go to a club that is contending, they’ll have to look at what their best outcome is. Not as simple as “match anything”.The ball is still firmly in the Bombers' court on Parish no matter how you look at it, as there's really no scope for him to go to the PSD and get to a contending club that way so the price for his "preferred club" to prise him away is going to be high for whoever decides try to get him, as Essendon will match anything that isn't excessively overs.
And premiership cups.I think they're giving them away at the end of every match. And scarves. And guernseys. And badges.
Excuse my ignorance but what is page 108I noticed them discussing him on page 108
Can't see how we get him but he would be a dream pick upI watched the Giants game against North and he’s an unfinished product but looks for all the world to be a helluva footballer in the making.
Charlie Cameron's younger brother is back playing good footy in the WAFL. Apparently he lost his passion for the game for a year but is now ready to try and get back in the AFL. He has some tricks
Cheers, appreciate that. He doesn't live with me but I'll keep it in mind when we have tea againI'll DM you if I see anything untoward.

I don't mind Phillips, would be a handy pickup. If Clarko doesn't return to the Kangas, I wonder if that would stir things up with the boys.Fat chance. We might have more chance of getting Will Phillips, because I suspect Wardlaw has gone past Phillips in the pecking order.
Phillips still shows plenty of promise as an inside mid.
Wardlaw & Phillips were Chargers boys, like Nick.
Not sure another small forward should be a priority at the moment. We’re struggling to fit all of ours in the 22 at the moment as it is, particularly now Harrison is showing good signs.Charlie Cameron's younger brother is back playing good footy in the WAFL.
