I feel he's had plenty of time to learn and shown zero. Unlike Cox.

Probably more hopeful then anything, I can't imagine he's going to be anything special...but if he is, that's great for them.
A lot of the free agents this year are not going to be worth the money they command. McKay being one. Constant injury issues, he’s a good defender when he plays, but not elite. Pass for me on the money he’d ask for.

Framptons pre-season form is concerning and while i'm surprised he's not debuting I can't criticise the decision. On the bold that's not true. His SANFL form was excellent and I'd say a big reason why he got picked up. It's been fruitful recruiting targeting performing SANFL players like McCreery, Noble and Johnson so I get the logic in bringing Frampton in.

Our backline was loose early last year too, but tightened up as the year wore on. More to the point though, without Geelongs abnormal conversion % in the first 3/4’s this game would have been over by half time. To score 99 in 3 quarters from 19 shots is unheard of.
Yes we do. Depends on what we see from Frampton and also from Kreuger Kelly Ruscoe Begg etc as to what our needs are. Or Johnson for that matter, could he play defence? . Question will be whether there’s anything we see is better than what we already have. We have the quantity, quality is unclear. Murphy albeit undersized is also underrated and Moore is AA.
We are well placed for small defenders, especially when we have players like Pendles who can drop back.
I’d rather the midseason pick was used on talent identification, not plugging holes.
Edit… no we don’t unless we get a season ending LTI.
