Would like to use both our top picks this year
Hopefully someone like Reid at our first (or that tall back from Vic)
Then I’d be moving up a bit with our second to grab Moir - if that guy gets his mojo back we’d have a jet off the wing
We wouldn't need to move up to take Moir. He's on a slide. A bit like Draper, but without the injury concerns.

A fast young bull mid like Newcombe
A mobile big defender

Are the highest priorities by the stretch of the MCG

And that’s only the tip of our problems

Anyone who thinks that we can persist with more than 30% of the below and win a flag is delusional

Ginn
Adams
Sidebottom
WHE
Lipinski
Mitchell
Crisp
Pendles ( more so age)
Howe
Your crusade against Ginnivan is hilarious in its delusion.

This.

If Allan and Reef come on I think our midfield woes will be short-lived. 2x quick/tall mids.

Big ‘if’.

A shame McKay from North is so pricey. Could be the FB we need.
I was keen for McKay last year. He has been extremely poor this year. Part due to giving too much of a start & lack of defensive support. In the games I watched he appeared all at sea vs Lions Daniher monstered him and kicked 5, as did King (St.K). Both Finlayson & Buddy could have had days out on him but for bad kicking. Langford at Essendon was too quick for him and kicked 4. Champion data indicates 2.2 av kicked on him

He is not worth the $$$ being bandied around for him.

Agree, nor the compensation

Might do better with a Better playing at a Good Club

They won't let Moir slip too far, has too much talent and there would be heaps of clubs who would think they could get the best out of him. Moir and Archer would be a dream draft for us

Watching the giants game would love Briggs! He is a competitive beast. Imagine him in the middle withJDG, NDaicos!

GIANTS LOOK TO LOCK IN EMERGING RUCK

GREATER Western Sydney has moved to lock in emerging ruckman Kieren Briggs early, following a stunning second half of 2023.

The 23-year-old signed a two-year deal at the end of last season through to the end of 2024 after playing nine games across his first four seasons at the Giants.

But now Greater Western Sydney is working on a deal to extend the 201cm ruckman's contract through to free agency at the end of 2026.

So who'll run out and play for us if we're sacking all of those guys, some of our best and most consistant performers?

Straughnie?

It does not appear like Kreuger is going to make it as a forward, nor Begg as a ruckman. There are rave reviews on Steene but some think he is a bit small for a ruck but will be a KPF. Can any of these 3 be developed into a FB?

Steene is 201cm-204cm so he is Tall Enough

Only kreuger could play at fb. Good agility for a tall, he was playing down back for Geelong

Short answer is no

Cant go into another season with Mitchell, pendles, Lipinski, Adams anywhere near the midfield. With sidey and Howe also nearing retirement we need to flag this season before the dreaded "rebuild" word starts to arise.

We also have the weakest ruck division in the comp. Amazed we are still top of the ladder.
Maybe we are on Top because the alarm in your post is exaggerated?
