I feel very comfortable in saying Adams won't win a B&F.

Can someone explain why all season Adams is flogged that he should be dropped or is a bad player due to poor disposal efficiency and other areas of weakness but the moment a trade is suggested, certain posters become defensive???
I would love Adams to win a B&F at Sydney. He's certainly not going to at Collingwood.

He just played 23 games. The timing was terrible, his overall availability has been fine. But that is a different question to the absolute garbage assertion that if he was out of contract we might delist him. It's that kind of crap that makes you sound like a young fool.

2 years in a row. I’ll repeat his lack of durability is why we are okay trading him.

If Adams wasn’t Injury prone, we wouldn’t be trading out a 30 year old good forward player.

If Taylor wasn’t in contract at the end of this year, we’d give him a contract on peanuts or delist him.

Sydney will definitely be giving 2 years with a trigger for a 3rd year.

Taylor’s (lack of) durability is the reason we are okay with him leaving. He was one of the best forward half players this year.
He played 23 games this year and he has been overall durable over his career.

If the reporting is to be believed, the club isn't driving a potential trade. You are moving the goalposts a bit there.

The question of him moving clubs is one thing, your utter garbage of a suggestion that we might have delisted him if he was out of contract is the thing people are calling you out on. Simply an insane assertion.

Does McInness slot into that HF role? I know whoever replaes him from the 2s isnt a scratch on what Adams produced this year, but trying to find an upside in a replacement
There would be a few options, who wants it most in pre-season

All I can is if we are ok with Adams leaving, what is the other move we are looking at that this helps facilitate?

Nah; you’re right. He’s a required player. I’m sure the pies have offered him a contract that matches Sydney’s.
The Pies don't have to offer him anything more than his existing contract. If the Swans offer a 2-3 year deal, if we facilitated a trade it would say just as much about how much we have valued him as a player - and are doing him a favour. Along with whatever is offered as a trade.

Happy to take on a fun bet with you i.e. 6 pack or a carton of coopers green or equivalent for your tastes. Taylor Adams will be at Pies next year.

or even just a stubbie bet (meant only to be a fun bet that doesnt cost an arm and a leg)

What is everyones opinions for the following players I'd love the Pies to get?
-Buka Khamis
-Tom Highmore
-Xavier Duursma
-Jade Gresham (would probably cost too much to get)
I don't really know anything about Khamis other than what I have read here.
Highmore I like. I have not understood why St Kilda have not played him and would want to know before considering him.
Duursma looks a player.
Gresham thinks he is better than he is. He tries to be Stephen Milne without the skills or strength. He is not a team player.

According to Mitch Cleary Adams was only given until Tuesday to prove his fitness for the grand final. They didn't give him up until Thursday and he isn't happy he wasn't given every chance.
This can’t be true. Ah well. Lucky it’s not about him. Imagine if Murphy got knocked out in the first and then Adams pinged a hamstring in the second!

I think it’s about respect, if Tay wants to go then we should allow him that dignity, he’s put his body on the line time and time again, he may just want to live in Sydney he may have other motivations. I don’t think we are pushing him but wait and see. I believe the Club has come out and said he’s required.
