He’d be our clear best mid in the twos.Matthieson would struggle to get a run in our twos.

EasilyHe’d be our clear best mid in the twos.
Yeah I don’t understand why people come up with stuff like that. He’s probably a touch above VFL level but not quite good enough to be a genuine AFL mid. He’d be our clear best mid in the twos.
I just hope that he did it electronically on docusign. That bloke could get a paper cut that severed a fingerHe might have broken his hand while signing the contract so they decided to keep it quiet
Next year, he’s OOC in 2024.Is the talk around Smith for next year or 2025?
What a midfield , Smith , Naicos , De Goey,
Thats some wheels
More importantly the best looking midfield in the comp
The curse of the #20 is realBetween Reid and Kelly, that jumper has seen about 7 games in the last 10 years.

Forget Smith. Delist Lippa. Chase Clarry. Draft a couple of Cameron Ling types. He's a gorgeous man with a ripping body. I could have been like that if I wasn't so ugly and lazy. It's a no for smith based on my jealousy

Are you referring to Naicos or Pendles or both? He's a gorgeous man with a ripping body.
then that wouldn't be fair on them because not even the manic is that uglyForget Smith. Delist Lippa. Chase Clarry. Draft a couple of Cameron Ling types.
I'm not a polygamist so i'd have to say PendlesAre you referring to Naicos or Pendles or both?
(Or Taz)
Spread far and wide then. Us of Celtic/Irish heritage could either claim appropriation or pride that our little fetivities have spread so wide. The wide part probably comes from the Yanks pinching it.Yep. It's a growing trend. Here in the Southern villages as well.
A bit of fun for the kids.
What I didn't bring up, is that, in his career at the Brions he was never the 1st or 2nd banana.
He has that chance now, I also was probably a bit simplistic in the 'development' part.
Mcstay was third tall behind big Joe and Hipwood
I think our role allows him to flourish more as key forward
He looked so good in preliminary
The ranking of the respective forwards in a team isn't really how it works. His role has changed with us. For Brisbane his main role was hitting up the ground, for us it's providing a contest in the hotspot. This is one that keeps being bought up but its not true. McStay was mainly no 1 or 2 KPF at Brissie. Daniher was there for his last 2 seasons only and the Daniher/Hipwood/McStay combo only stepped out in 20 something games.
Dan was exactly what we wanted this year. 2IC to Brody who is our dominant KPF. At Brissie he usually ranked around 4th to 7th in the teams goal scoring table and was around a similar mark this year for us although could have gone higher with more games.
It's unlikely he boosts production score wise much past what its been over 10 seasons but by all means hope. But he has spent plenty of time as 1 or 2 main KPFs at Brisbane in the past. 1 to 1.5 goals per game is an excellent output for him IMHO
