Hopefully Richmond can acquiesce on the demand for 23 if they're getting 14.
My exact thoughts. Should happen now.

Blues get pick 3 AND get to rid themselves of Owies. Lucky campaigners. That’s the worst deal I’ve seen
The eagles can trade any future pick they get for Barrass for Baker
That’s ugly as
Their list boss should be sacked if he trades 3 for 12 and 14Blues get pick 3 AND get to rid themselves of Owies. Lucky campaigners.
Yes, with a lot of crafty trading they did ok in the end. They worked with multiple clubs and negotiated well to get various picks from 6 clubs.Did you watch them last year - they turned 1 good pick and some shit ones into 3 future firsts and enough matching points for 5 first round academy kids. They were brilliant.

Not if the Baker deal is set to be agreed tomorrow. It might actually be that Richmond need to send Pick 23 to WC as part of the deal for them to be willing to split pick 3 with other later pick swaps

As in Richmond give Baker and 23 to WC for 14 and a later pick back. Not if the Baker deal is set to be agreed tomorrow.
Does any of this help us?As in Richmond give Baker and 23 to WC for 14 and a later pick back.
They think the kid they want will get to 12 - which will effectively make 14 for Baker a freebie.Dear god. How can you give up pick 3 so you can get picks for Liam Baker. Just madness
Means GC might be adamant that it's only 29 we get and not 23Does any of this help us?
I'm confused why it's in our trade thread.
My point was that Richmond want 6 and 23 for Rioli. If the Baker deal goes through first and they get 14, that may be enough to persuade them to just take 6 for Rioli. Gold Coast could then add 23 to the megadeal for it to get to Port.Does any of this help us?

They probably won't spend any time talking about them.Well at least all the negative media will focus on the Eagles tomorrow morning. No doubt Houston would have been 1 on the list to talk about…
It should mean GC hand over 23 now.Means GC might be adamant that it's only 29 we get and not 23
If it helps us get Houston, I'm all for it.My point was that Richmond want 6 and 23 for Rioli. If the Baker deal goes through first and they get 14, that may be enough to persuade them to just take 6 for Rioli. Gold Coast could then add 23 to the megadeal for it to get to Port.
Not if it's involved in the Richmond Baker trade. Maybe why Richmond is insistent on the 23 on top of 6 l.It should mean GC hand over 23 now.
But there's no suggestion it's involved in the Baker trade. The reporting right now is that the Baker trade is going through tomorrow, and Richmond do not have 23.Not if it's involved in the Richmond Baker trade. Maybe why Richmond is insistent on the 23 on top of 6 l.
And GCs key target this period is Rioli. Not Noble. Maybe their second big target is offloading Lukosious to Port so we need to rely on that part of the 3 way.
I think Port just want more full stop. If the three-way deal is still happening I doubt they really care how they get more or who from.If it helps us get Houston, I'm all for it.
But aren't Port wanting more out of us for Houston? If it's just 23 instead of 29, that should be easy enough
