And from what I've been told, we shouldn't underestimate Tay Adam's role in all this. He has been in Treloar's ear from the get go

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. I hope the trend continues and we can look at picking up Patton next year once young Treloar tells him all bout how good things are down at Collingwood.

Is this the war chest ed was talking about. ..getting players like Treloar, Aish and maybe Carlisle to the club. This would be a talking point of the whole pre season if this happens.

There seems to be a persistent rumour on BF that Vickery is the 3rd player we are after and looking likely to get. Haven't heard much about it from anyone I know to be reliable so wait and see what these BF posters are like I guess. Not sure if it because his Dad is a former pie (4 games) or not but they keep putting it up.

You'd take good Vickery in an instant but unfortunately there's way too much bad Vickery in there.

Imagine keeping Scharenberg would also top it off...hope not

One that we are hearing over here, mine you don't believe it, is Pies last minute attempt on Danger, involving Elliott... Stay tune.

I doubt we get Treloar Aish and Carlisle under the cap, some reports have suggested we only go after Aish if we miss on Treloar, and Carlisle is rumoured to want 700K

Where would Carlisle play? Seems to be his best position is down back and do we really need another key defender?

Reid, Brown, Frost, Scharenberg and Marsh, not exactly an area of weakness for us.

I hope we aren't in for him at all.

Carlisle may have to sit out 2 years yet over his time at the dopers/bombers. Also he's more linked with Carlton at this stage haven't heard him linked with pies at all really.
According to BEEG Carlisle has actually approached the pies.

From what I gather Carltank is offering him the most coin, his preference is pies but money talks so lets wait and see. Pies flew up and spoke with him a few weeks back apparently.
Ok thanks. Didn't know about us being preferred. Can't see Carlton already committing to significant coin without a coach so that will drag on for a while then.

Don't want Carlisle. Would be expensive considering Treloar and plays in an area where we don't have any real need.

We have Frost, Marsh and Brown, Reid is finally injury free and Goldsack can play key back if needed.

I guess if he wants to come here, we'd be silly not to look at what can be done. Not into chasing him very hard though especially if other clubs are into him.

Not sure what there $$ offer is just that it's likely more then ours.

SOS would be making the decisions on contracts and list management so the offer can be done minus the coach.

Wouldn't mind Carlisle but big concern coughing up too much in a trade for him to then get outed for 2 years with WADA.

Not overly concerned about Aisho. Nice to get but not willing to break the bank.

Getting Treloar would be a massive coup and that's all I really want.

Not to keen on Vickory. I would rather have a dip at 2m Peter next year.

We just really have to develop the guys we have.

If we did sign Carlisle, which is something I hope we consider, Reid would probably be a KPF for the rest of his career, Carlisle would team with one of Frost or Brown and Marsh would be the 3rd tall. Scharenberg just plays his rebounding back flanker role like Langdon does.
