Langdon was our best player today against Essendon IMO. Maybe Adams was better but out of those two.
Firstly I was lol-ing about that guys post putting langdon in it
It didn't even matter though. It's much more important to beat Essendon then a lousy move up one pick that we will trade anyway.
Secondly thank God your not a afl list manager ;)

I could actually see us not landing anyone this trade week! All this hype about us getting everyone really worries me.

It's not like we are guaranteed to play finals next year so I can't really see what the draw card would be over clubs like Richmond.

The word all over the place is that Treloar has already made up his mind and chosen Collingwood. I'm not sure why we have all these supporters who burst heart valves at every wrong turn.

Today was piss-poor but we played at 80 per cent. I'd much rather lose this game then lose a player to an ACL.

We should play finals next year if we add Treloar and Aish, and we should could push top four.

Treloar, Dangerfield, Ablett, Fyfe or Shaun Mckernan, players and people in general won't change on the basis of the last game of the year... \

Hell, GWS lost to Melbourne, do you really think Melbourne is ahead of GWS? Some clubs don't care in the last game of the year, we seemingly proved something last week, shut everyone up, then shut off.

The truth is we are a chance to play finals not guaranteed. Like I've said earlier we can't offer short term success like the other clubs. Yes we are young but so are the dogs and ther flying so I'm going to use that as a excuse. We have a few holes in our side that are not easy fixed.

All I'm saying is don't be surprised if we don't land anyone because we are still in rebuild mode.

This is what I am worried about the most. Yes we may have a young list etc etc but GWS-POWER and SUNS will over take us next year and are better shaped to play finals before us...Interesting times ahead

True if we had played this year I think guys would be screaming to come to us! But time will tell

By the way, if we get that former #1 from Carlton, then I will be heading down to the Holden Centre to crucify someone.

My preferences, in order:
- Danger (dreaming, I know)
- Treloar
- Aish
Either of the above three and I'll be pretty happy.

What will probably happen in trade week at Collingwood:
Ed will organise a free Rod Stewart concert at the Holden Centre.
