He changed it to a D- after the WHE trade! :)
Sounds like my old report card!

To be fair though I did get a couple of A's & B's but they were often followed by ATTITUDE: F.:p

Well WHE never said he just Wanted to go to Collingwood

I told you all a while back he was a lock has wanted to come to Collingwood since last year.

I used to get "doesn't apply himself" which meant an ass kicking from the rents every quarter.
This has now spawned an obsessive, compulsive personality which can never be happy due to the fact nothing is perfect.

I say f@#$ school!

The team will be more enjoyable and less stressful to watch next year. No brown, Frost or Williams looping the ball to the opposition up one end and no Cloke marking 20m directly in front missing the goal up the other.
A thumping kick from fullback that is able to clear a zone, and 3 marks of the year contenders running around not to mention Wells delivering inside 50 and mayne holding it in there. I can't wait to watch next season!!!

So what have we done pre draft?
In:
Wells - will improve us.
Mayne - slight upgrade on Blair.
Dunn - interchangeable with Brown/Frost
WHE - I'm not sure. Someone else would be better qualified than me to talk about him.

Out:
Swan, Tooves, Caff - all retired not many senior games between them this year.
Witts - our VFL ruckman
Frost - our VFL FB
Cloke - Our AFL/VFL FF.
Brown - FB who was dropped during the year.
Marley - was injured and dropped during the year. Lost his way?
Gault/Golds/Goodyear - delisted.
Marsh - big question on whether we ever see him again.

Marsh is the one I'm disappointed to lose and that seems to have been out of our hands. Extra disappointing considering both our plodding FB's have left.

Hopefully returning this year - Elliott, Ramsey, Scharenberg.

Looks like a clean out of what is perceived as dead wood by the club. Some of the replacements not mind blowing but we didn't have a lot of currency to work with.

Improvement must come from within, I think it can :thumbsu:

Sorry I meant before this trade period not draft
I mean, the only reason we put up a good pick for him was because he's seen as 'elite talent' taken at 4 in his draft year. I'd argue strongly that after 5 years in the system that it's his cv, not his initial draft ranking, which should used to gauge his worth. I don't think anyone could honestly value him as a second rounder based on his output to date.

I am going to be very objective here re the Mayne comment as the problem is we still have Blair and if it only a slight or even good upgrade is he worth 4 years? Can understand if he was taking Blair's place on the list but now we have two similar type players. I really don't understand this trade.

They see Mayne as a Upgrade on Blair

Don't disagree. Will be a wait and see what Mayne actually provides.

Blair will eventually become depth... into the abyss.
