I'm sure they would have been consulted extensively about his strengths, weaknesses, upside potential, risks, etc.I mean, the only reason we put up a good pick for him was because he's seen as 'elite talent' taken at 4 in his draft year. I'd argue strongly that after 5 years in the system that it's his cv, not his initial draft ranking, which should used to gauge his worth. I don't think anyone could honestly value him as a second rounder based on his output to date.
