I would take mayne wells and dunn.. over Jordan Russell quinten linch and Clinton young any day of the week..

i think mayne will surprise a lot of people.. if he kicks 25-30 next yr and tackles relentlessly it's a big win over jarryd blair playing football like hes a useless jack in a box.

thanks apex, I look forward to following Chris grant mk 2 with our pick 105
Hahah don't get me wrong, pick 105 is worthless in these days of professional scouting and we won't use it, but I did feel that your statement needed to be corrected.

No, but it's where we play more games than any other venue. I think the point Hine was trying to make though is that he seemed to perform better when he was back in Melbourne around family and friends.
As I said it is not a knock on the player more on Hine. He could say, decent kick, quick hands or whatever not sure that the reason he gave is why we draft a second rounder for especially as Visions posted he has only played 5 times at the MCG. Just seemed an unlike Hine comment.

He was always a poor decision maker and poor kick. You only noticed that this year.

average kick yes.

poor decision maker, I disagree. he attacks the game and runs with the ball. that doesn't always work, especially if those in front arent working hard enough for you. also kicking a clanger results in a poor outcome so it looks like a poor decision but that wasn't the intention.

This whole trade period has been very unlike Hine. He seemed rattled after the whole thing was done. I think he's used to having complete control at trade time, and there were quite a few moves that were made that had somebody else's fingerprints on them.

anyone else here think pies should look at bringing back dawes on 1 year deal on minimum wages? mainly because i foresee one of reid or keefe to miss time due to an injury which could send white to the backline, thus making moore and cox as as our two main tall fwds. How about we use dawes in the goal square, and have cox and moore move around and allow them to use their athleticism .
