Amazing to think we had a full list available going into Hawks game and a fortnight later are likely down Naicos, Moore, DeGoey and Hill!

There’s a lot of luck required in this caper!

And arguably put in our worst performance with a full healthy list to choose from...

Because the long season and short turnaround has had no impact on ... say ... Moore's injury?

Geelong rested players last year.

The SEN writers, David King, and others have suggested we're in a great position to manage players.

There's insanity everywhere!!!!

Geelong were so far ahead of the pack last year, it wasn't even funny. We played the game of our life in the QF and still couldn't win.

This year there are 5 sides with legit claims of winning the flag. Team cohesion is far more important that resting players. They can miss a training session or 2 if they need a spell.

David King is the same bloke that loaded up on the Pies/Daicos double at the start of the year and is now crying because that ticket is in the bin.

I’ll wait for Jen’s report, but I guess it’s looking like Degoey and noble are added to daicos and Moore with hill also a ?.

I guess those wanting us to rest players will get their wish this week!
Was just about to comment the same thing about those insisting on 'resting' players ..

except he lined up in defence before Moore went off with Howe forward from the first bounce, his comments don’t make sense.

He started on the pine, went into the ruck and then straight into defence when Moore ran off at the 20min mark of the 1st quarter. Very much shaped up as if he was going to play Forward/Ruck before the Moore injury.

Regardless, he must stay in the side as a KPD for the remainder of the season.

Josh daicos getting put through a fitness test of sorts, left ankle/calf the issue to my eye

For those of us unfamiliar with Ryan, what type of player is he? What are his best attributes? What’s a like-for-like comparison from elsewhere in the AFL?

He's a excellent prospect who turns 19 next month.
This pre-draft assessment from last year has Ed Allan in there too.
Apparently we would have taken Ryan with our first pick if Allan hadn't slipped through.
If the comparison with Sicily pans out, we have a good 'un on our hands.
