No Hopper, Martin, Short, Broad, Tarrant, Gibcus … that’s why.

Collingwood missing howe and Lipinski. Equivalent of hopper and key position outs. If Martin plays our odds should shoot up. We can cover hopper easily in the midfield with our current depth

Gees I would love a tall on Cox,Bradtke but maybe too early???

Hhmmm,97kg to Cox 108kg.

Way shorter also but mobile.
Bradtke is a forward. He wouldn't play on Cox in a million years. Kicked 5 in the VFL in the first half last week.

It's likely we will play a team defence with Balta, Grimes and Young all rotating on the Collingwood big men Mihocek, Cox, McStay and their ruckman. Vlas will have to play tall at times. Broady is a big out.

Here's an article about their game last week when Port tried to tag little Daicos.

Reigning premier? As in the Pies beat the Cats. Reckon the Cats are starting slow to finish fast - again.

Anyway, my point is that if we bring the heat the Pies style might fail. Like our did in similar circumstances sometimes. If we don't bring it for 4 quarters then I reckon we will lose.

Seems like we have a lot of injuries. great for opportunities for kids (Banks). But sucks for this game.
I reckon out pressure could definitely bring their gameplan undone. The intent has been there this year but skills and connection have been awful. Even when dominating the Crows witches hat for 3 qtrs. Need to bring both the pressure and skill levels way up to be a shot. Pies have been super slick with their delivery and ball movement.

But the pies don't bring it for 4 qtrs either, Port Adelaide were next level bad but yet out scored them in the third qtr.

I don't know why most are already throwing in the towel, it reminds me off Round 4 2019 TBH when most on this board had already conceded to Port Adelaide after we had been easily defeated by the pies and giants in rounds 2 and 3.

Yup, good call.
They are very hard to stop from scoring, but they can also open themselves up to being scored against at the same time.
I think we will give a good account of ourselves regardless of who is in or out.

The one thing lacking in Collingwood games so far has been intense pressure. If we come to play and keep them under high level pressure for the bulk of the game, their ball movement and slick running all comes undone.

I hope a few fringe players get their chance because injuries and really have a crack.

f***ing minnows, couldn't get to 100k without an AFL reach around.
Minnows? Collingwood's crowd numbers have been enormous for decades, even in our down years.

You might want to take a moment to remember that your supporter base was nowhere to be seen until you started to show something (circa 2015), then all you bandwagoners came out of the woodwork. Well done on the flags, but you're not living with any sort of realism with that statement.

Richmond was the first club to get 1 million through the gates in a season (including finals) way back in 1980, first club to 100k PAID supporters, were doing okay thanks.

Collingwood have pushed for 100k members since 2018 with no success until the AFL kindly allowed free memberships to be counted last year, of course you are a big club it just seems you have quite a number of supporters not prepared to put their money where there heart is unless they think you're flag bound.

I agree and teams can't score like that every week, it just doesn't happen.

No one actually cares here, we say this shit because we know it sets of pie fans like yourself.

1980? 43 years ago and a flag year - also standing room where they crammed incredible numbers in.

We all remember you went missing for 20-30 years over the course of the nineties and noughties ;)

oi dumb campaigner, your club couldnt get 100k members until the afl removed the $50 minimum last year . what does that tell ya

tigers did it 5 years in a row with the $50 limit in place

You still have to have the numbers to cram them in;)

We went missing on the field for years yes but off the field we were able to save our own club with SOS while Collingwood went hat in hand to the AFL to save their equally broke club, those 100k paid supporters were always there but like Collingwood's members over the last few years they weren't willing to buy a membership until it looked like success was on the horizon.

And the audacity to call me dumb :tearsofjoy:
do ya know that Richmond is the only club in history to outdraw colonwood while both clubs were top 4 in the same season ? what does that tell ya

now jog on to the dentist and go have a shower, you stink
