google maps shows two different alternative routes to take other than Roseanna Rd, but no, bike riders want to flirt with death because drivers are "entitled". AND ONE OF THE ROUTES IS A DEDICATED WALK/BIKE PATH....But no no no, drivers are entitled, there's no bike paths. There's 10's of kilometres of bike paths in the South East, but where do the bike riders all ride?
On the road.
Bike paths aren't the problem.
He clipped him with the very edge of his trailer. Unless he saw it in his mirror, unlikely, then he'd have no idea he clipped him. After digging into it, Arch hasn't been charged with the 'hit and run' offence that the newspapers went with as their title.
IMO that means his claim that he didn't know was probably believed.
When you drive on country roads and over take another truck, the truck you are over taking will flash their head lights to let you know you are past them and its safe to come back into the lane. It can be tricky to judge sometimes. After digging into it, Arch hasn't been charged with the 'hit and run' offence that the newspapers went with as their title.

Yep, that's how I see it too.He clipped him with the very edge of his trailer. Unless he saw it in his mirror, unlikely, then he'd have no idea he clipped him.

I used to ride bikes around the city alot. I'd always sit in behind trucks and surf the air they pushed out of the way. Its dodgy as and if you cop a clip or two its your own fault, not the drivers. He didn’t know. When you’re carrying a load that heavy you can clip a car and not feel it.
Yeah after reading that I'm kind of spewing he didn't cause the campaigner some serious damage.Interesting quote.
Mr Vander said he just wants Archer to “man up” and take responsibility.
“I would just tell him to man up and own his errors and, you know, show some remorse,” he said.
“He might have played 311 games where he smacked blokes from behind when they couldn’t see him coming, but when it’s time to man up, he’s an absolute coward.
Would have thought Archer's lawyer would be looking very closely at that quote.Yeah after reading that I'm kind of spewing he didn't cause the campaigner some serious damage.
That road is fkd
I've been driving on country roads for decades and never saw that once. When you drive on country roads and over take another truck, the truck you are over taking will flash their head lights to let you know you are past them and its safe to come back into the lane. Some stuff in here about the Racism investigation and about how the club is going.
He started out by saying it was bigger and worse than the * Drugs Saga. Can someone just tell me what was said. Don't want to listen to Damo and his crap.
And thats exactly why I don't want to listen to it. He is so bloody predictableHe started out by saying it was bigger and worse than the * Drugs Saga.
Basically sounded like no end in sight for the investigation. North and Brisbane not happy with how Hawks handled the investigation. Yada yada. Can someone just tell me what was said. Don't want to listen to Damo and his crap.

Plenty of roads where you think, " yeh, nah "
For me tailgating and incessant lane hopping are the unforgiveables. People accidentally do stuff wrong all the time and it is just part and parcel of sharing the road. But those two acts you 100% know what you're doing is reckless and can hurt people.I've been driving on country roads for decades and never saw that once.
Seen alot of ****ed truck driving tho, even been to about 10 truck accidents caused by bad driving and shocking roads . Know plenty of truckies too. Its a hard (ie mentally tiring) job and people do make mistakes. These days everyone is in such a massive hurry to jump on everyone else's mistakes.
That would be because you wont see it, theres a great big truck in the way! Next time your out and about slow down to let a truck overtake you and flash to let him know when its safe to come back in. I guarantee he will then flix his indicators to say thank you!I've been driving on country roads for decades and never saw that once.

I think Ferbs may have ridden in plenty of trucks with his firefighting dutiesThat would be because you wont see it, theres a great big truck in the way! Mate, everyone gets out of the way of firetrucks. I've driven back and forth between Adelaide and Sydney/Melbourne countless times and it happens every single time.I think Ferbs may have ridden in plenty of trucks with his firefighting duties
